Valuable Volunteers

AiG has been so blessed to have literally thousands of volunteers over the years to help the ministry in so many varied ways. This year alone we’ve had over 1,000 different volunteers helping inside and outside the building. Today we had a special luncheon for four very special volunteers. Lou & Shirley Dattolo turned up a few months ago to stay a short while—but that turned into many months. Shirley helped in the AiG’s print shop, while Lou mowed the grass—day after day. I think Lou knows every inch of the property. On Monday they ...

CREATION IN BAGHDAD What a blessing to receive the following email from a solider deployed in Iraq. I have also included two of the photos he sent: I am a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army, currently deployed to Iraq. I have been fortunate enough to have discovered your website while in country and I make it a point to check in on a regular basis. Your ministry has been a wonderful and powerful tool in my walk with Christ. I find it more and more difficult in these times to discern truth in our society and ...

During the year, AiG invites Christian leaders from various denominations to be a guest speaker for our morning devotions. Today (Wednesday), we had the privilege of having the Dean of the School of Theology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Louisville, KY) as our guest speaker. Many staff commented that he was one of the best speakers ever at AiG. His talk made him sound like a veteran AiG speaker! He was so good, I really wanted as many people as possible to hear his talk. I have included the link below so you can ...

Surprise visitors to AiG

SURPRISE AUSTRALIAN VISITORS Mally and I had an exciting day! A few days ago, a friend from Australia who I have known for 30 years called and said the company he worked for was sending him to the USA for a conference. He worked in a visit with us for a day and tour the Creation Museum. We first met Kevin Skerman in the town of Dalby (near Brisbane, Australia) where I was sent for my first teaching appointment. Dalby has always had a very special place in our hearts. Our first child Nathan was born in ...

Windows came after the fall…

I had a rather stressful weekend! I flew to Springfield Missouri on Saturday to speak at a church Saturday evening and Sunday morning—then to another church Sunday evening. On Saturday afternoon, I found my new computer would not come out from "hibernation" mode. It totally failed! We are prepared for such occasions by carrying backups of our talks on USB drives. I was able to use the computer of one of our staff who was with me for the weekend, and rebuild the talks I needed for this series of programs. When I got back to ...

Computer Crash in Missouri

This weekend I was in Springfield, Missouri. Unfortunately, over the weekend, I had a total failure on my computer (of course--computers are fallible too!). I'm working on a back-up computer now that I'm back in the office. Over the weekend, we were so blessed to hear testimonies from people who's lives have been changed through the ministry of AiG--I'll try and share some with you when I get my computer back. In the meantime, please make sure you're reading the Katrina Outreach Updates. We expect our team to arrive back very late tonight. Thanks for stopping by Ken
