ABC TV
Published October 31st, 2005 in Around AiG
This afternoon I was interviewed for an Australian ABC television program called Lateline. Sound bites will be taken from the interview and used in a program within the next 10 days. Please pray for the producer as they put this program together.
60 MINUTES TV
On Tuesday afternoon I will be interviewed for the Australian television program 60 Minutes. On Thursday, a 60 Minutes-type program from France will interview me. While they are doing that, the local FOX news channel will also be filming to show our local area the worldwide interest in the museum.

Great team
Published October 30th, 2005 in My Journeys
Over lunch after the close of the AiG conference at Word Of Life in New York, a number of people independently said that Dave Menton, Buddy Davis and myself make a great team. We do work very well together---we all have the same warped sense of humor! We have fun as we give our presentations, even having "digs" at each other and so on. People not only get the information we give in our lectures and songs, but they enjoy listening. I praise the Lord for the way in which He has brought not only ...
Rings and things
Published October 29th, 2005 in My Journeys
For the 11:00 am session at the AiG conference at Schroon Lake, NY, we did something a little different. Dr. Dave Menton was scheduled to do some illusions for Buddy Davis’s children’s workshop. Surprisingly, Dr. Menton, who is a professor of anatomy, is a great illusionist. For the first 20 minutes of the session, we combined the children and adults and Dr. Menton made rings join and un-join, and water disappear into paper, etc. Adults and children alike loved it. Doing this sort of thing also breaks down barriers---it shows that even though we are out ...
“Idiot America”
Published October 28th, 2005 in My Journeys
Today I received a fax from our office of an extensive (8 page) article from Esquire magazine (I have never heard of it before, but it can't be a very nice magazine based on some of the language they use) entitled: "Greetings from Idiot America." The subheading states: "Creationism, Intelligent Design, Faith-based this, Trust-your-gut that. There's never been a better time to espouse, profit from, and believe in utter, unadulterated [expletive deleted], and the [expletive deleted] is rising so high, it's getting dangerous."
And guess whom they are talking about? Answers in Genesis. It's probably one of ...

Word of Life
Published October 27th, 2005 in My Journeys
Mally and I, Buddy Davis and his wife Kay, and Dr. Dave Menton are currently at Word of Life at Schroon Lake in upstate New York for a weekend family AiG conference. A few hundred people are booked in for the three-day conference.
Buddy kicked off the conference tonight (see attached photograph) with a concert. We then spent some time at the Garden Café eating ice cream, beside the heated swimming pool.

Fossil Week
Published October 26th, 2005 in Around AiG
This week could be called "fossil week." Fossil expert Joe Taylor (creationist and friend of AiG) has been spending the week classifying AiG’s extensive fossil collection. Joe told me today he was quite surprised by the quality and extent of the collection. He is going to have to come back and spend more time before he finishes all the work that needs to be done just to sort and classify all the specimens. Many of these will eventually be housed in various exhibits in the Creation Museum.
