I can’t wait to get home Tuesday morning to see the Creation Museum bookstore. While I’ve been in Louisiana, workers have been laying the special wood floor of the museum bookstore—using lots of intelligence, we can see from the attached photographs that the bookstore floor is slowly "evolving!" MEMORIAL SERVICE I rearranged my schedule this week to fly to California with Mally to attend the memorial service for Dr. Henry Morris who went home to be with the Lord this past Saturday. As one of my ...

A Hollywood connection

Today I spoke twice at services of First Baptist of Bossier City (see photograph), while Jason Lisle spoke at a sister church in the area. We both spoke tonight as we begin a three-night Answers in Genesis program. This morning, six Hollywood stunt men (who are in the area for the filming of a new movie) attended my sessions and came to lunch. They are working with Kevin Costner—one of the stunt men is Kevin Costner’s "double." All six were Bible-believing Christians. I also found out that the lead guitarist for ...

Dr. Henry Morris has died

Just after I wrote my blog tonight (Saturday), I received a phone call from our previous pastor in San Diego, Pastor Tom Chesko, to tell me that Dr. Henry Morris went home to be with the Lord. Dr. Morris is one of my heroes of the faith. He is the man the Lord raised up as the father of the modern creationist movement. The famous book The Genesis Flood, co-authored by Dr. Morris and Dr. Whitcomb, was the book the Lord used to really launch the modern creationist movement around the world. It was ...
Recently, Bill and Agnes Minnich, special friends of AiG, visted to see the progress on the Creation Museum. Bill and Agnes have already donated valuable fossils for the Flood exhibit. They will deliver more museum-quality fossils in August, including around 50 great specimens of trilobites from Morocco. They presented me with my own trilobite paperweight as a reminder of the exciting collection they will be delivering in a few months. I have included a photograph of Bill and Agnes touring the Creation Museum bookstore currently under construction. ...

The Diggles family visits AiG

We were blessed with the music ministry of the Diggles family this morning at our 8:30 am staff meeting. The two young daughters (6 and 10 years old) recited Psalm 8 and then Dad sang a few songs with them. You can listen to the short program they gave this morning at this link: The Diggles Family. AN OPEN LETTER In the wake of "Evolution Sunday," and the letter that 10,000 clergy signed to support evolution, it is thrilling to see Christians respond in a ...

Quite a long newspaper article appeared in The Independent Weekly for Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill, North Carolina, reporting on the recent Answers in Genesis conference in which Dr. Jason Lisle, Buddy Davis and I were featured speakers. This is an interesting article to read. He does report a lot of things we said accurately, but now and then makes errors (we trust not deliberately) like this: They're listening as Ken Ham explains what he considers the root of racism: modern science. Actually, I said that "Darwinian evolution was not the cause of racism, but it fueled racism." I then quoted ...
