An eye-opening poll

Recently, an AiG supporter funded a poll (conducted by one of America’s leading researchers) to find out more about what is causing people to leave the Church in America. Today we had a meeting with the researcher to go through the results of the poll. It was absolutely eye-opening. We will be releasing the results of this poll in various ways in the future, but it clearly shows that the creation/evolution and "millions of years" issues have had a major affect on how young people have viewed the Bible. The poll also shows a major problem ...

AiG Video Conferences growing

At the Thursday morning staff meeting, Tom Miller, Director of Outreach (see photograph), shared a report on the phenomenal growth and success of the Video Conference ministry. This outreach is conducted by trained volunteers from all across the USA. Praise the Lord for the many AiG supporters who have volunteered their time (and finances) for this venture. You can find out more about joining this exciting outreach on the Video Conference Coordinator page. NEARLY 200 HOMO SAPIENS PHOTOGRAPHED! On Thursday morning after staff meeting, most of ...

The Bible is true

It is so encouraging to get reports like the following. Terry Mortenson sent this after a recent speaking engagement: That evening I spoke on dinosaurs. I answered questions from the audience for about 40 minutes afterwards and most people stayed for that time. After that, several came up and thanked me for the lectures. A couple of men especially appreciated the way that I handled the questions. A biology professor came up to me and thanked me for the thought-provoking lectures. One elderly lady told the pastor’s wife “I am just so happy to know that the Bible ...

Unique presentation for the Creation Museum chapel

This morning (Tuesday) at AiG’s staff meeting, my mother (Norma Ham) presented AiG’s Creation Museum exhibit design director Patrick Marsh with a unique gift for the chapel. One of my mother’s friends from our church in Sunnybank, Brisbane, Australia (Heather Robinson) crocheted a beautiful rendition of the Lord’s Prayer to be framed for the Creation Museum chapel. She took many months to crochet this unique item. Heather, like many who know us in Australia, has been keeping up with the progress of the Creation Museum. She is ...

Platypus gift—a reminder of creation

The first photo today shows me holding a wonderful gift that arrived this week. It's a platypus, of course—an incredibly designed creature from my native land of Australia. It was handcrafted from wood by Mr. LaVerne Anderson of Des Moines, Iowa, a long-time friend of AiG and a museum charter member—in fact, every few months, he makes the 550-mile drive (one way) to check on the museum's progress here in Northern Kentucky. One of his hobbies is wood-working. He also made a wooden platypus for our CCO, Mark Looy ...

Dinosaurs, harmonicas, violins and more

For the final session at Warsaw (the home church of Buddy and Kay Davis), Buddy sang and played various instruments---and others joined with Buddy to play harmonicas and violin for "Amazing Grace." What a blessing this was. I then spoke on the relevance of Genesis to evangelism in today's world. So many thanked us over and over again for the teaching and music programs. STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK This week is a special week to encourage our ...
