I thought you would all be interested in the following quote attributed to actor Chuck Norris:
… but here’s what I really think about the theory of evolution: It’s not real. It is not the way we got here. In fact, the life you see on this planet is really just a list of creatures God has allowed to live. We are not creations of random chance. We are not accidents. There is a God, a Creator, who made you and me. We were made in His image, which separates us from all other creatures.
By the way, without him, I don’t have any power. But with Him, the Bible tells me, I really can do all things – and so can you.

YOU CAN’T WIN THEM ALL
In a ministry like Answers in Genesis, we get an overwhelming amount of positive feedback—but we also get negative feedback. In fact, we find that someone will eventually complain about anything we do, print, etc. This week a person, in a VERY emotional way, canceled getting our newsletter because we use glossy paper (they claimed environmental issues). I remember when a lady once complained vehemently because we used color in our books and newsletters—she said the devil used color. I remember telling her God invented color!!
ANSWERS MAGAZINE PLANTS SEEDS
Our customer service department forwarded the following testimony about Answers magazine:
A customer shared a fun story about the Answers magazine today. First of all she mentioned that she thought Answers Vol. 1 No. 2 was the best issue ever and ordered a dozen of that particular one to share with people. She also said that she likes to leave the magazine open in her home and when people come over they just begin reading and agreeing with all the good science. Then they see at the very end of the article that it is put out by a Christian organization and she said she can always see that they have realized that the information is written by a Christian by the way that their facial expression changes. She loves planting the seeds in this way and opening the door to people accepting what we discuss scientifically as valid. She is thrilled with our magazine and just wanted us to know.
I enclose a photograph today of some of the volunteers who worked on the nature trail bridges to honor them and the hundreds and hundreds of volunteers the Lord has brought to AiG to help in so many ways. We do thank the Lord for them.
I arrived home (after a 4:00 am start) and Mally picked me up at the airport and we went straight to our home church. On Monday afternoon, a number of us from AiG will be going to the memorial service for Dr. Charles Wagner. He was my pastor before he retired a couple of years ago. He was one of the greatest Bible teachers (an expository teacher) I have ever heard. We will all miss him—but we praise the Lord we know he is in the arms of his Savior.
Thanks for stopping by—and thanks for praying Please pray especially today for Dr. Wagner’s wife and family as they deal with his passing.
