It’s a post-modern culture!
Published October 29th, 2006 in My JourneysActress Scarlett Johansson redefines terms:
Monogamous—one at a time!!
Promiscuous—not getting tested for STD’s.
Read this news report about Scarlett Johansson speaking on “sexual health”—she cites that humans are basically animals and makes some rather “interesting” statements:
Scarlett Johansson has spoken of the need for all people to take their sexual health seriously.
The actress, currently starring in The Black Dahlia, told US magazine Allure that she gets tested for the disease as “one has to be socially aware”.
“It’s part of being a decent human to be tested for STDs [sexually transmitted diseases]. It’s just disgusting behaviour when people don’t. It’s so irresponsible,” she said.
Johansson is currently dating fellow actor Josh Hartnett and confessed to the magazine that she could understand why people stray in relationships.
“I do think on some basic level we are animals, and by instinct we kind of breed accordingly,” she said.
However, Johansson denied that she is promiscuous, saying: “There does seem to be a mistaken belief out there that I am sexually available somehow. But I work really hard when I’m in a relationship to make it work in a monogamous way.”

A 14 YEAR OLD COMMENTS ON ANSWERS MAGAZINE
I have enclosed a copy of a letter sent in by a 14-year-old—it is so thrilling to receive feedback like this from young people.
I arrived in Minneapolis around lunchtime today (Saturday) and then spoke twice at a Worldview Weekend. I had so many responses. One young girl came up and said, “Mr. Ham—you’re an awesome DUDE!” One lady told me she had been witnessing to a young man who was very skeptical of Christianity. She showed him one of AiG’s video sets—and that did it. He felt he’d been cheated by the education system. He became a Christian. She brought him to the conference to hear me today and took a photo of me and this young man. She purchased a book for him and had me sign it. Praise the Lord for such feedback.
A man told me that he came across AiG material while in college and it caused him to totally change direction in his life. He said he is now bringing up his children on this material so they won’t go through the struggles he did.
I had a number of teachers tell me they were using AiG materials in schools—Christian, Public and Charter schools. One man told me that each year he purchases a bulk quantity of our booklets and hands them out to people. There were so many testimonies—what an encouragement.
Well, another early morning Sunday—get up at 4:00 am and catch an early morning flight home!
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying.
