New Zealanders hear about Creation Museum
Published February 28th, 2007 in Around AiG, Press Coverage
I am writing this blog minutes after getting off the phone, being interviewed for a program on a Radio New Zealand. I was asked many questions about the Creation Museum and about the Bible and the creation/evolution issue.
Today I also spent a couple of hours with a reporter for the Russian-language edition of NEWSWEEK magazine. He was writing for a Russian language articleand will submit it for the English version as well. We continue to have daily calls or visits from various media as the Creation Museum nears the opening date of May 28.

Poodle apology
Published February 26th, 2007 in Around AiG, Thoughts and Things
I have to admit, I have to apologize to a poodle. I received the following email:
Watched your show today [DVD shown on TV]... Excellent with one exception: The comments about POODLES, which happen to be one of the smartest of all dogs. I think they rank second. My Poodle, Beau, was watching you on Television and he looked at me and my wife like what is this guy saying, I'm not at the bottom but in the top one percent of all dogs. Beau would appreciate an apology for your remarks.
Ok, Beau, I apologize that I ...

AiG changes lukewarm Christian
Published February 25th, 2007 in Thoughts and Things
I really appreciate your web site & ministry. I was a very luke-warm Christian and my wife talked me in to attending a home school conference in Columbus last year. Thanks to Mr. Ham and Mr. Riddle, I was encouraged for once in my life regarding my faith. I wish others cared about Genesis and creation like you do, but I must say, "Most people sure don't, including most of my friends in the church." So really, there is hardly anyone to share with the exciting things I learn from your articles and books. ...
Opposition to AiG message getting more vicious
Published February 24th, 2007 in Museum Updates, Thoughts and Things
AiG speaker/researcher Dr. Terry Mortenson sent me this disturbing information:
The evolutionists are getting more vicious. See this 9-min video (it starts loading as you click on the link). It has clips of Ken Ham and Buddy Davis (taken out of context---where Ken shows the scientific problems with evolution).
The clip presents absolutely no evidence of evolution (though dogmatically claiming it is a proven fact). And it rips many OT and NT verses out of context, including Luke 19:27, which Dawkins states is a statement of Jesus, when in fact it is the statement of a fictitious man in ...
Media swamps AiG
Published February 24th, 2007 in Around AiG, Press Coverage
What a day! We are three months from the Creation Museum opening (May 28th, first day open to the public), and the media are already swamping AiG.
Friday we had ELEVEN media contacts:
* a call from the New York Times (a reporter with the Escape travel section)
* a Brazilian newspaper reporter---her story will run on Sunday in a large Portuguese paper based in Sao Paolo
* the Tribune (a French-language newspaper out of Geneva, Switz.)
* a drop-in visit by the manager of a Christian TV channel in the Netherlands
* a rep. with the Western Recorder newspaper was here (a Southern ...
BBC visits AiG
Published February 23rd, 2007 in Around AiG
Today I spent over two hours with a reporter for the BBC world service, and, Dr. Eugenie Scott. Dr. Scott is the Director of the NCSE (National Center for Science Education)the leading anti-creationist organization in the USA.
Eugenie Scott interviewed me (and at times we debated in a respectful way) for a program to be aired on the BBC. Eugenie is well known across the USA as leading the anti-creationist cause. She was very respectfuland except we have totally different worldviews (she describes herself as a "non-theist"and is listed on some websites as an atheist), you would think we were friends.
