Science teacher “appalled” at Creation Museum
Published April 30th, 2007 in Press Coverage
Recently, the article that appeared in a Cincinnati newspaper about some of the artists/sculptors at the Creation Museum appeared in the Indianapolis Star newspaper. This article dealt with the Christian testimony of these artists. A public school science teacher from Indianapolis responded:
As a science teacher in Indianapolis Public Schools, I was appalled and dismayed by the article about the Creation Museum that appeared April 23 on page 2 (“Museum that will focus on faith also inspires it”). I have to battle the misinformation that has been pumped into my students’ brains all the time. What we don’t ...
Cincinnati Post columnist gets it wrong
Published April 29th, 2007 in Press Coverage
Even though we know there are often inaccuracies in most secular articles reporting on Answers in Genesis, the Creation Museum, or the creation/evolution conflict—an article by Cincinnati columnist Dan Hurley is one of the most inaccurate we’ve seen in the American media. The article stated:
The relationship of science, religion and politics has never been obvious or simple, and with the opening next month of the new Creation Museum in Boone County, Ky., Greater Cincinnati finds itself at the center of a very old struggle…Despite our love for technological gadgets and the lip service we pay to the importance of science, ...
Creation Museum in New York Times
Published April 27th, 2007 in My Journeys, Press Coverage
In the travel section of the New York Times today (Friday), an article appeared about Museums and evolution exhibits across America. The reporter also interviewed me about the Creation Museum. The article states:
Evolution exhibits, a growing feature of science museums around the country, answer questions about human origins with explanations accepted by the great majority of scientists. And people curious about the other way of looking at things — the creationist view — have some options, too, including the Creation Museum, which is opening May 28 in Petersburg, Ky., just outside Cincinnati.

On Wednesday, I spent time taking a reporter and camera man for Finnish Television through the Museum. Mark Looy and I were both interviewed for their program.
Also, the FOX affiliate from Lexington Kentucky visited the Museum and also interviewed Mark and me for a program to be shown mid-may before the Creation Museum opening.
CREATION MUSEUM IN “INDIANAPOLIS STAR”
An article that appeared in our local Cincinnati paper, has also
appeared in other newspapers such as the Indianapolis Star:

speaking on Saturday and Sunday at a ...
On Tuesday, I was interviewed on two Christian radio stations specifically about the Creation Museum—I also gave a reporter and photographer from the Christian Science Monitor a tour of the Museum—and a detailed explanation of the gospel! On Wednesday there are two TV crews (one from Finland and one local) visiting the Creation Museum.
THANKS FROM BINGHAMTON
It was encouraging to receive this feedback from our recent conference in Binghamton New York:
Thanks for a terrific job at the conference in Binghamton.
You, Buddy and Dr. Menton did as expected a marvelous job. Praise the Lord. We appreciate you coming to minister to us. ...
90-year-olds organizing bus tour to Creation Museum
Published April 24th, 2007 in Thoughts and Things
Last week the Lord once again reminded me of the brevity of life and the
responsibility we have to those we leave behind. An elderly couple who have a heart
for the authority of Scripture and the message of Answers in Genesis
gave a donation to the ministry, and I contacted them to thank them for
their kindness. During the conversation, my mind retreated to the first
time I met Walt and Margaret. It was 1998 and they joined us for one of
our Down Under Tour Trips to New Zealand and Australia. It didn't take
long to realize that Walt had a “zest” for the life ...

Salvation testimonies—that’s what AiG is all about
Published April 23rd, 2007 in My Journeys, Around AiG
Dr. Menton and I spoke at 1st Baptist Church of Johnson City (NY) on Sunday morning to around 1000 people. (All told, including the Friday/Saturday conference in New York, we spoke to over 2500 people).
We again received many great testimonies. One man told us that he had watched a set of AiG videos (someone invited him to church to watch them)—and as a result, he committed his life to Christ. A young lady told us that information from AiG was integral in her becoming a Christian.
We receive testimonies like this on a regular basis—and at almost every speaking engagement we ...

Recently, AiG produced an hour radio special called "Understanding Islam."
Over 400 stations (with more yet to air the special) broadcast the
program. We praise the Lord for the tremendous response.
EXCITING RESPONSE IN NEW YORK
For two days, over 1500 packed into a theater in Binghamton for the
special AiG conference conducted on behalf of the GARBC (General
Association of Regular Baptist Churches) in New York State. People were
so excited. We found out that one Jewish synagogue cancelled their
services so all could attend the program on Saturday!
During the breaks, children and adults lined up to talk with Dr. Dave
Menton, Buddy Davis, or ...
