Tremendous secular article on Creation Museum
Published May 31st, 2007 in Press Coverage
There have been many great articles in the secular press about the Creation Museum. Most have reported our statements very accurately—which we are thankful for. An article I read in the Toledo Blade is one of the best I’ve read from an accurate reporting perspective.
It begins:
PETERSBURG, Ky. - Ken Ham welcomed the world’s media and hundreds of invited guests to the $27 million Creation Museum here yesterday, calling it a “historic event in Christendom.”
The 60,000-square-foot facility in suburban Cincinnati, which opens to the public tomorrow, is designed to offer a biblical perspective not just on the origins of ...

Ken Ham, Creation Museum, and Crocodile Hunter
Published May 30th, 2007 in Press Coverage, Museum Updates
I had to smile when I read this comment in a newspaper article about the Creation Museum:
Another source of evolutionist irritation is museum co-founder Ken Ham, a 55-year-old former science teacher who may be the most engaging Australian to hit the airwaves since the Crocodile Hunter.
This came from an article in the Indianapolis Star—Creation Museum: 3-D view of Genesis
KIDS NEED CREATION APOLOGETICS
A supporter wrote about the need for kids to receive creation apologetics teaching:
Last year, I went to a conference at Sandy Cove, and heard Ken Ham give his message for the first time. I immediately changed ...

Over 4000 at Creation Museum first day
Published May 29th, 2007 in Press Coverage, Museum Updates
They came, and they came, and they came--over 4000 came for the first day the Creation Museum was open to the
public! They were lined up inside, then outside, then down the side of
the building, then back again and looped again! Some people waited 3
hours to finally get in to the Museum--but the ones I talked to didn't
complain, but would say, “praise the Lord we do have to wait.”
I've included some photographs taken at the first open day. During the week I'll include many more.
Today I did another 15 interviews. The press from all over the world
came ...

As Mally and I still consider Australia home (like the song “I still call Australia home”)—it is thrilling to see the secular press printing news about the opening of the Creation Museum in the USA. Other secular publications in Australia have also printed news about this historic event. As far as I know, there has been no Christian media or Christian organizations in Australia that carried news about the Museum—which is sad, considering this is one of the greatest evangelistic tools of this century. I’ve included a link for the article with an excerpt below.

This is not just a historic event in America, but a historic event in Christendom. Over 1000 people attended, including numerous invited guests, local county and state government elected officials, representatives from the state and federal governments, and a phenomenal number of media groups from around the world. The event reminded me of the Scopes Trial of 1925, when media from around the world gathered to hear the Bible openly ridiculed in court. However, on May 26, media from around the world gathered for the opening of a one-of-a-kind facility that upholds the authority of God’s Word and ...
Media blitz on the Creation Museum
Published May 26th, 2007 in Press Coverage, Museum Updates
43 media interviews so far this week! I have included below just a few of the numerous media reports on the Creation Museum this past week.
Today, Saturday, the Creation Museum will be officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony involving 1000 invited guests. Also, as of last night, 130 media groups had requested to be credentialed for this special event. After the ribbon cutting ceremony, there will be a special press conference. Guests will then take their time as they go through the Museum. Over the next few days, there are many other media interviews I ...
