Published July 31st, 2007 in Around AiG, Ministry Updates
The fastest growing Christian University in the world, Liberty University, provided a $50,000 scholarship for AiG to award to the winner of a research paper contest to challenge young people to study and write on the origins issues. Below are some of the photographs taken of the winner. You can read a detailed article about this event and also view a video with highlights from the presentation at:

A Parade of media coverage
Published July 30th, 2007 in Press Coverage, Museum Updates
The long line of media outlets covering our new Creation Museum continues to get longer.
In addition to recent news reports that the museum has already broken the
100,000-attendance mark in only two months (and is now sitting at 120,000 visitors), overall reporting on the unique museum continues worldwide (as one example, four different Swiss reporters have been here over the past 10 weeks) and also across America.
The most recent example of prominent coverage would be yesterdayâs Parade magazine, an insert found in hundreds of U.S. newspapersâhere is a link to the (somewhat unflattering) piece:

Evolutionists blast Creation Museum
Published July 29th, 2007 in Press Coverage, Museum Updates
Ardent evolutionists, who have for years been indoctrinating the public without that much opposition, are now obviously worried about the opening of ONE Creation Museum! Trying to intimidate by saying such ridiculous things as ââThatâs the real danger of such a place â undermining the basic principles of science, eroding the public's confidence in science, and causing a general weakening of science education in the country,â a leading international evolutionist organization is âthrowing a tantrumâ about the Creation Musum.
The Society of Vertebrate Paleontology not only attacked the Museum, but the President Ken Ham as they stated: âKen ...
Attendance at the Creation Museum on Friday was just shy of 4000!! The biggest day since opening day! I spent some time today talking to the guests at one of the picnic pavilions. They were from all across America! And they were so thankful. One man said, âthis is the only place Iâm happy to stand in a long line.â People were praising the Lord for the numbers, even though it was crowded at times in the Main Hall of the Museum. About the same number of guests are expected for Saturday. I believe we are over 115,000 visitors now ...

Published July 27th, 2007 in My Journeys, Museum Updates, Feedback
What a special thrill today to receive a unique and very exciting
donationâa bronze deer with fawns sculpture donated by Roger and Vicki
Smith. Roger is a very talented artist who does wildlife art in bronze.
I have enclosed three photographs:
1. AiG landscaper Tim Schmidt standing with Roger and Vicki in the place where the bronze sculpture will be placed
2. The wildlife art piece
3. Ken Ham, Vicki and Roger Smith, Tim Schmidt, and Mike Zovath
The sculpture is actually priced at $39,000 and is ...

Press release on Creation Museum attendance appears across the nation
Published July 26th, 2007 in Museum Updates, Feedback
AiG recently sent out a press release informing Christian and secular media that 100,000 people had visited the Creation Museum since opening week (100,000 in seven weeks). A news item concerning this appeared in many secular newspapers and Christian news sources. I was also interviewed by a number of Christian radio stations concerning this exciting news. Citizenlinkâa lobbying arm of Focus on the Family also carried this news item at:
