I am specially asking you, as we start the month of October, to pray for the upcoming ministry on the Pacific island of Saipan. The whole purpose of this time is to video-record six of my major talks (what I consider the six basic talks of the biblical creation ministry), translated into the main Chinese language. Mally and I and our video team will be traveling to Saipan at the end of October for this special time.
Contact information for the meetings in Saipan can be found on our website or by contacting AiGâs ...
When Mark Looy of our staff (Chief Communications Officer) told me he was going to an RNA conference in San Antonio, Texas, I wondered: when did he get so interested in molecular biology?
Well, this RNA stands for the Religion Newswriters Association, and Mark is attending their 3-day annual convention with about 250 religious writers (many of them writing for major newspapers; for example, a New York Times writer is there). While we have had perhaps 150 reporters here at the Creation Museum since May when we opened, we want to reach many more who have not been able to ...
Be wary of newspaper reports
Published September 28th, 2007 in My Journeys, Current Issues in the World, Feedback
One of the lessons we have learned over the years is to be very wary of any newspaper report, as many reporters have the habit of not only giving misinformation but injecting their own agenda into their stories. Take this quote from a newpaper report from Northern Ireland about the creation/evolution issue in the U.S.:
âIn America, Christian fundamentalists succeeded in banning the teaching of evolution from US public schools in the 1960s. However, following high-profile court cases, it was ruled that intelligent design was not science and contravened the constitutional restriction on teaching religion in public school science classes.â
The above ...

I received many great comments yesterday after speaking at Grace College in Indianaâat chapel in the morning and then a public meeting in a different auditorium at night.
One of the comments that stood out was from a pastor who said something like this, âI praise the Lord for your ministryâit has helped pastors like myself to have more courage in being bold in regards to how we preach.â
Actually, I have heard this comment many times before from Christian leaders who have told me they so appreciate our boldness and the authority with which we teachâand the information given through the ...

Europe voting against creation?
Published September 26th, 2007 in My Journeys, Current Issues in the World, Feedback
I reported a couple of months ago about a very influential body in Europe that was trying to get a vote against teaching creation in schools. The latest report from Europe states:
âEuropeâs main human rights body will vote next week on a resolution opposing the teaching of creationist and intelligent design views in school science classes. The Council of Europeâs Parliamentary Assembly will debate a resolution saying attacks on the theory of evolution were rooted âin forms of religious extremismâ and amounted to a dangerous assault on science and human rights.
âThe resolution, on the agenda for October 4, says European ...

AiG HOSTS REGIONAL K-9 TRAINING
As part of our continued community support and outreach, the Answers in Genesis Security K-9 Unit is actively involved in area law enforcement and search & rescue K-9 groups.
Every year the Lawrenceburg (Indiana) Police Department sponsors the North American Police Working Dog Association (NAPWDA) regional training and certification, an event that brings in over 80 law enforcement and emergency services K-9 units from all over the country.
After a recent visit to the Creation Museum and seeing our beautiful campus with a lake and woods, they asked if AiG would help sponsor some of the activities ...
