Firmly in the Creationist Camp
Published November 30th, 2007 in Ministry Updates, Feedback
One of our popular speakers, Dr. Terry Mortenson, receives a lot of feedback about his presentations. This one came in recently after Terryâs visit to Michigan. This person is finishing up his PhD in nuclear physics and astrophysics at a major secular university. He wants to come to the Creation Museum and meet some of our scientists, especially Dr. Jason Lisle (our astrophysicist). He wrote:
âMy name is [removed], and we met this past Saturday and Sunday at Jension Bible Church in Hudsonville, MI. I just want to thank you again for coming and giving ...
Darwinâs Plantation Arrives at AiG
Published November 29th, 2007 in Ministry Updates
A new book coauthored by myself and Dr. Charles Ware has arrived at AiG (see photographs). Dr. Ware is an international authority and life coach on race/ethnic reconciliation. Dr. Ware has founded and collaborated in forming numerous reconciliation organizations and spearheaded seven national Multiracial Ministry Conferences. Since 1991, Dr. Ware has served as president of Crossroads Bible College in Indianapolis and also serves as senior pastor of the college mission-modeled Crossroads Bible Church. Unique among Christian colleges, CBC has almost an equal enrollment of African Americans, âwhites,â and a growing number of ethnic groups, ...

Creation Museum Promoted in Moldova
Published November 28th, 2007 in Ministry Updates, Feedback
Last week Pastor Alexandru Sanduleac came to the USA to meet with Dr. Crandall about a possible partnership with AiG WorldWide in Moldova (near Romania). While here he spent several hours at the Creation Museum and took hundreds of pictures of the displays and each of the signs. I wrote a special blog about this visit. I thought you would be interested in this update concerning Pastor Sanduleac:
He arrived back home, in Moldova, on our Thanksgiving Day, and by Sunday he had already made presentations of AiG and the museum in four Moldovan churches.
He sent the ...

Is âBelief in a Young Earth the Only Way to Salvationâ?
Published November 26th, 2007 in Press Coverage, Museum Updates
The New York Times on November 25, published an article on the modern biblical creation movement. The Creation Museum/Answers in Genesis received a few mentions in the article. However, I wanted to deal with one statement in the article that had the writer done just a little bit of homework, she would have found it not to be true!
The writer, Hanna Rosin, stated concerning the Creation Museum:
âThe museum sends the message that belief in a young earth is the only way to salvation. The failure to understand Genesis is literally âundermining the entire word of God,â Ken ...
Secular Press Reports on Six-month Museum Anniversary
Published November 25th, 2007 in Press Coverage, Museum Updates
Tomorrow, Monday November 26, is the six-month anniversary of the opening ceremonies for the Creation Museum. On Monday, May 28 (Memorial Day), the Creation Museum opened its doors to the public for the very first time.
The Cincinnati Enquirer (and its âsisterâ paper across the Ohio River, The Kentucky Enquirer) today had a very good above-the-fold, lengthy museum story on page 1. The Enquirer is the major paper in the region where our museum and AiG are located. The photo on the front page can be seen on the slide show that accompanies the web-based version of the article ...
AiG Releases Seven C’s VBS Program
Published November 24th, 2007 in Ministry Updates
It is unique! It is exciting! It is full of apologetics for kids ages 2-12! It has lots of âmeatâ not âfluff.â It is the first-ever VBS program centered on the seven Câs (based on the Creation Museum walk through biblical history) called âAmazon Expedition,â produced by Answers in Genesis.
Over the past few days, Iâve had the opportunity to look in detail at what the AiG curricula and product development staff have accomplished! I must admit I was amazed! This is the first ever VBS program AiG has produced, and without any exaggeration, it is ...
