Darwin’s Plantation Arrives at AiG
Published November 29th, 2007 in Ministry UpdatesA new book coauthored by myself and Dr. Charles Ware has arrived at AiG (see photographs). Dr. Ware is an international authority and life coach on race/ethnic reconciliation. Dr. Ware has founded and collaborated in forming numerous reconciliation organizations and spearheaded seven national Multiracial Ministry Conferences. Since 1991, Dr. Ware has served as president of Crossroads Bible College in Indianapolis and also serves as senior pastor of the college mission-modeled Crossroads Bible Church. Unique among Christian colleges, CBC has almost an equal enrollment of African Americans, “whites,” and a growing number of ethnic groups, and it is becoming nationally acclaimed for its model of multicultural ministry.
I count it such a privilege that Dr. Ware would coauthor this new book with me. I believe it to be a most unique and extremely powerful publication.
In the book you will:
- Discover the origin of people groups (there is only one race), the genetics of skin color, and biblical truths on “interracial marriage.”
- Uncover the tragic legacy of Darwin’s controversial theories and the terrible consequences of evolutionary theory taken to its deadliest extreme.
- Nazi Germany used evolutionary concepts to justify the extermination of “unfit” people groups such as the Jews, Gypsies, and Slavs.
- Explore an eye-opening discussion on racism and its roots in the hearts and minds of millions.
Many of you may be familiar with the book One Blood. This new book, Darwin’s Plantation (published by Master Books) takes these topics to a whole new level and, with the added chapters by Dr. Ware, makes this new publication, I believe, to be one of the most powerful books available explaining the origin of people groups and confronting head-on the race issue in churches and culture. Professional writer, Todd Hillard took our manuscripts and turned this into something we would never have been able to achieve on our own.
You can purchase the new book from the AiG online store.
Lots of meetings at the office this week are keeping us all busy. Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying.
