2008 Evolution Battles Begin
Published January 4th, 2008 in Current Issues in the World, Press CoverageIt may be a sign of things to come! Just four days into the new year, and the creation/evolution issue is making world news.
Evolutionists released a new book (actually a new edition of a book) to try to keep creationist ideas out of the public school classroom.
ABC Television contacted AiG and came to interview Dr. David Menton. In the news piece that was shown on ABC Television, they also included some previously recorded segments from the Creation Museum, including a short clip with Dan Harris and me.
Mark Looy, AiG’s CCO, wrote a lead article for the AiG website on this new book and the ABC Television segment. I encourage you to read this article. You will find there is nothing new—the evolutionists using the same old arguments we’ve refuted many times—but they know if they say something enough times, people will believe it has to be true!
Personally I think this is just the beginning of what will become increasingly major battles between creationists and evolutionists. Many in the evolutionary world are already gearing up for major events in 2009 , the 150th anniversary year of Darwin’s Origin of the Species, and the 200th anniversary year of Darwin’s birth.
Please pray for us as we continue to deal with media and various attacks from the secular (and Christian) world.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying.
