The following testimony really outlines the ultimate motivation for the Creation Museum:
. . . I wanted to let you know how the Creation Museum made an impact in a teen’s life here in Michigan. We have been praying for [a young man] who is in our youth group . . . . [We have] been burdened for his soul, especially since he was dating a girl who was agnostic and didn’t want him coming to church.
Two weekends ago [the young man and a friend] went with another church to the Creation Museum for the weekend . . . ...

We Were Nothing But Pond Scum
Published February 28th, 2008 in Thoughts and Things, Feedback
In an article about secular scientists predicting when the world will end, they state:
In fact, we’ve only got a billion years left before the slowly expanding sun boils off the oceans and reduces our planet to an uninhabitable cinder, says Smith. That may sound like a long time, but in fact life on Earth's been around a lot longer than that—a total of 3.7 billion years, according to the latest estimates.
For those first three billion years, true, we were nothing but pond scum.

Internationally Renowned Visitor to Creation Museum
Published February 27th, 2008 in Museum Updates, Around AiG
One of the world’s most-recognizable entertainers visited the Creation Museum on Tuesday and Wednesday. With his trademark hair, Bello Nock the circus clown is known around the globe because of his world tours–and that hair, of course.
Bello joined Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus in 2001, and this year the Ringling Circus has taken on a theme after his name: “Bellobration.” More than a clown, he is an incredible daredevil.
Bello tells us that he travels 48–49 weeks a year, but because he is a headliner, he is provided with a huge RV, and thus, his wife Jenny ...
Media at the Museum

For three hours on Monday, KKMS radio out of the Minneapolis area did a live broadcast remote right here at our Creation Museum. This Christian station also brought a busload of its listeners to tour the museum—that’s about a 12-hour ride! They were very impressed with (and excited about) the museum, and Dr. David Menton’s lecture at the museum drew some rave comments.
From left to right in the photo: Jeff Shell and Lee Michaels of KKMS are seen interviewing Dr. Georgia Purdom of our staff. Dr. ...

New Feature on “Kids Answers” Site
Published February 25th, 2008 in My Journeys, Ministry Updates
We’ve started a new feature on our Kids Answers website which we trust will help children and parents alike to develop a Bible-based worldview. It’s called “News for Kids” and works like our popular “News to Note” weekend feature—except it’s for kids! You can find it under the Newest Articles section on the Kids Answers homepage (http://www.answersingenesis.org/kids).
We’ll examine topics kids come across in such places as their Weekly Readers, Time for Kids, National Geographic for Kids, or school textbooks—but from a kid-friendly, biblical perspective. Several articles on individual topics will be posted each week, so continue checking the ...

Over the past few months, I have received a lot of positive feedback about the DVD set entitled The Great Debate. This was a debate videoed by John Ankerberg for his TV program where our astrophysicist Dr. Jason Lisle and I debated a well-known progressive creationist and a theologian concerning the six days of creation, age of earth, etc.We made the debate series available, and added a LOT of extra material from AiG's Dr. Terry Mortenson. Terry gives many more detailed answers (you can click at the appropriate place on the DVD and hear Terry ...
