Greetings from the U.K.

As I continue a speaking tour of the United Kingdom that started last week, here is what’s happening back in the Colonies (as some English people call the USA!):
SUPERIOR HOSPITALITY AT THE MUSEUM
Last year on this blog, I mentioned that two of our staff, husband-and-wife Rich and Geri Campbell in our museum’s guest services team, were honored by the Northern Kentucky Convention and Visitors Bureau as “Bureau heroes of the month” for service above and beyond. The award was presented to them—in a surprise ceremony—inside our museum’s Special Effects Theater.
A few days ago at the annual meeting of ...

The first conference I am speaking at for this UK speaking tour is in the nation of Wales. This is the country that has a flag with a dragon on it. In fact, I often use a picture of the Welsh flag in my dinosaur lecture when talking about dragon legends and dinosaurs!
The conference is at a Christian center. It is in a series of buildings that were used many years ago for a truant boy’s school. The AiG conference basically maxed out the facility.
The Christians at this conference are so concerned about the state of this nation, and ...
Before I begin our annual (usually) grueling speaking tour of Great
Britain, I always allow a day for “de-jet lagging”! So, I (along with
colleague Mike Zovath) used the day Thursday to visit something called
the EDEN Project—a great series of bio-domes that has become a popular
tourist attraction. We wanted to pay a visit because we are always on
the lookout for possible ideas for the Creation Museum back home.
I thought you would be interested to see that, despite the place’s
biblical-sounding name, pagan religions get quite a mention here (see
photographs of signs re: South American Indian legends and pagan Greek
legends), and, of ...
A Sweet Taste of Heaven

A supporter from Kentucky writes:
I just had to write a letter and praise the Lord for the Creation Museum! My family finally got to come visit in Dec. (2007), a trip we’ve been longing for since we heard of this “creation” in process. The first few minutes we were walking around inside, I couldn’t help but feel like I was getting a sweet taste of Heaven! After a moment of being quietly caught up in my thoughts, my husband looked at me with tears in his eyes and said the exact same thing I was feeling.
My dear husband ...

I’ve been in England now for just over a day, and I hear that a lot is happening back at the offices and museum in northern Kentucky.
Among the few thousand people who have visited the Creation Museum from Monday through Wednesday (by the way, really good crowds so far this week) have been some international visitors. On Tuesday as I was preparing to fly to London, two French architects toured the museum for their research purposes. Yesterday, an Australian student, who is studying at the University of Chicago, interviewed a few of our staff about the building of ...

Every Issue—From the Beginning
Published March 26th, 2008 in My Journeys, Feedback
There are so many aspects of the AiG ministry that the Lord is using to influence lives:
My family subscribed last fall, and I recently ordered every back issue [of Answers magazine] from the very beginning. We visited the Creation Museum, and I’ve seen Ken Ham speak at a local educators’ convention. I’ve enjoyed every word, and I very much appreciate everything you’re doing. AIG has played a huge role in the re-shaping of my worldview that the Holy Spirit has been working in me for the last few years. I’m currently founding a new Christian school ...
