A Sweet Taste of Heaven
Published March 28th, 2008 in My Journeys, Museum Updates, FeedbackA supporter from Kentucky writes:
I just had to write a letter and praise the Lord for the Creation Museum! My family finally got to come visit in Dec. (2007), a trip we’ve been longing for since we heard of this “creation” in process. The first few minutes we were walking around inside, I couldn’t help but feel like I was getting a sweet taste of Heaven! After a moment of being quietly caught up in my thoughts, my husband looked at me with tears in his eyes and said the exact same thing I was feeling.
My dear husband continued to have episodes of “tearing up” the entire evening, and I felt that somehow God was doing a deep healing in him, beyond explanation with words. God has repeatedly impressed upon us both that He wants to give us a new foundation, so we can stand and advance.
Your organization is exactly what we needed. We feel such a connection with everyone at AiG and believe God is using all of you to help us enter into God’s destiny for us. AiG awakens hunger. Thank you for proclaiming truth!
COLLEGE BUDDIES VISIT CREATION MUSEUM
Our son Jeremy was thrilled that four of his college buddies from Liberty University visited the Creation Museum recently.

Because some schools have been out this week for “spring break,” we’ve seen thousands of families come to the museum the past four days. Thursday, many of the AiG staff had to move their cars to free up parking spaces for our visitors. Over 2,000 guests toured on Thursday! One person—doing a research paper about the museum—was here for her fourth straight day taking everything in. We’re approaching 350,000 visitors in ten months.
DEVOTION
“Voice of authority”
(John 5:6-8) Wilt thou be made whole? The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
We may seek a complicated remedy for our problems and still miss the simple remedy of getting through to the Lord Jesus Christ to hear His voice of authority.
UK TOUR BEGINS
Today (Friday) my U.K. speaking tour begins. On Thursday I visited something called the EDEN Project and will include some photographs for you in tomorrow’s blog. When we travel to other countries, we like to visit facilities to get ideas for ways to improve the AiG/Creation Museum facility.
Please pray for each day as I speak in the UK—you can access my itinerary through the AiG Website.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying.
