Spotless Sinless Lamb of God
Published March 31st, 2009 in Around AiG, Feedback
We have never apologized for the fact that the Answers in Genesis ministry and the Creation Museum are ultimately “on about” biblical authority and the gospel of Jesus Christ. People have often commented that they see God’s Word upheld and the gospel preached through every aspect of this ministry. That is what it is all about.
Our very popular Answers magazine is no different. Yes—there are lots of different articles about varied topics—but again, the gospel is clearly presented. That’s why I am always thrilled to receive emails like this one:

Walk Through the Creation Museum—at Home!
Published March 30th, 2009 in Feedback, Ministry Updates
Of course, it is never the same as actually being at a place, but in the very near future, AiG’s video team, under the direction of Ben Wilt, will have produced a “walk through the Creation Museum” that will be available on DVD.
This past Wednesday evening, Ben asked me to be filmed for an introduction and ending to this unique production. I have included a number of photographs showing you just a little of the work involved in such a production. Keep watch for the DVD to be advertised on AiG’s website and through the newsletter.

My First Secular Newspaper Editorial Cartoon?
Published March 29th, 2009 in Feedback, My Journeys, Press Coverage
In what we believe is a first, a Louisville newspaper included an editorial cartoon about the Creation Museum—but with a caricature of me. Of course the cartoon falsely accuses the Creation Museum of rejecting scientific reason (tell that to our PhD scientists!)—and I am not bow legged—but the cartoonist did a nice job on the beard! Here is the cartoon and the link to where it appears in the newspaper (the largest in our state of Kentucky):

Bizarre Behavior from Brisbane, Australia
Published March 28th, 2009 in Around AiG, Current Issues in the World, Thoughts and Things
Now , I’ve seen all sorts of ways that the world attacks the Answers in Genesis ministry—but I must admit, this is one of the most bizarre. A composer (Robert A. Davidson) from my home city of Brisbane, Australia, wrote about a musical piece he composed about us:
Composed for the 2008 US election night on 4 November, this work was first performed on that night in New York city by Newspeak ensemble. In reflecting on the leadup to the election, I was dismayed that the Republican vice presidential candidate [Sarah Palin] was alleged to be persuaded by the arguments ...
The Hypocrisy Police on Full Alert—But Should Stand Down
Published March 27th, 2009 in Around AiG, Current Issues in the World
I don’t know if I should feel honored–or just a bit perturbed.
Many humanist websites have been recently accusing me of being a “hypocrite.” A few days ago I wrote a blog item about what I called a “media ambush” by BBC Radio in England, when Dr. Jason Lisle–an astrophysicist on our staff—was invited to be interviewed on a BBC station in Southampton, England, on the beliefs of creationists. Unbeknownst to Dr. Lisle, the hosts also invited an evolutionist, and the program ended up being something of a debate (though cordial)—rather than the promised interview.
An evolutionist professor read this ...
Moody Theology Professor Promotes Long Ages and “Bashes” The Creation Museum
Published March 26th, 2009 in Current Issues in the World, Feedback
In yesterday’s blog, I informed you about an associate professor of theology at Moody Bible Institute (Bryan Litfin) who made a snide comment (in fact, a feedback email from one of our supporters called it “bashing”) about the Creation Museum on the Moody Radio Network. If you read the transcript of the radio program where this Creation Museum “bashing” occurred, you would also see that he promoted progressive creation—thus undermining the authority of the Word of God—which so sadly is one of the greatest problems we have in most of our Bible and ...
I Had a Dream
Published March 25th, 2009 in Feedback, Press Coverage
One of our supporters sent us this email about a dream he had:
I had a dream last night that I was in the Creation Museum. I thought to myself, “If I am in the Creation Museum, then I can see the new Natural Selection Exhibit.” When I awoke, I had a sort of “aw shucks” feeling that I was actually several thousand miles away. Thankfully, last summer I was able to travel from Kelso, Washington, with my family to see the museum. It was worth every mile. In fact, it exceeded my expectations. Keep up the great ...
They Traveled a Total of 163,602 Miles
Published March 24th, 2009 in Ministry Updates, My Journeys
Today we are happy to welcome 12 international guests that are here for Answers in Genesis’s International Training Seminar. They will spend the week being trained by AiG staff and equipped to present the creation/gospel messages in their respective countries.
This morning, we enjoyed a flag ceremony and got to meet each of these very special guests during the chapel time. These folks have traveled a combined total of 163,602 miles to be at AiG for this training time. Please pray for them as they get over jet lag and are plunged into a very vigorous schedule.

The Tiniest Aussie Resident at the Creation Museum
Published March 23rd, 2009 in Feedback, Ministry Updates
Last week one of the AiG staff members who works at our petting zoo (Josh) introduced me to the newest and tiniest resident at the zoo—another Aussie import—a second wallaby. Here is a photo taken of our new Petting Zoo member:

A “Kind” Article
Published March 22nd, 2009 in Feedback, Museum Updates, My Journeys
Last week, the Associated Press news service circulated an article about our new Creation Museum exhibit on natural selection and Charles Darwin—and this piece was written in a fair way. At last count, more than 200 websites and newspapers had picked up this syndicated AP article. That included our local newspaper The Kentucky Enquirer on Saturday – along with a photo of a father and his sons from Orlando, Florida viewing the exhibit. (It also helps answer the question: where do people from Orlando—home to Disneyworld, Universal Studios, Sea World, etc.—go on vacation?!). You can read the Enquirer article here: ...
