What Is the Real State of the Nation?
Published June 5th, 2009 in Ministry Updates, My JourneysOn June 25 at 8:00 p.m. EST, we will be doing our first-ever live video webcast from the Creation Museum. I have been gathering interesting information concerning the state of this nation and the church, and together with the research that was the backbone of our new book Already Gone, I want to address the real state of the nation.
Joining me live from the Creation Museum for a live chat after my presentation will be Britt Beemer from America’s Research Group (co-author with me of Already Gone). We want to challenge both church and culture! Much of the church has not recognized the real nature of what has happened—and what is happening—in this once-great Christian nation that is falling fast!
You can find out more information from AiG’s website at this link. I will also be updating you further on this event through this blog (and, of course, we will be updating the website as well).
The Beauty of the Gardens
Thanks to Marty and Deb Minnard (our PhotoFX photographers inside the museum) who sent me these photos of the Creation Museum gardens. And thanks to AiG’s Director of Grounds Tim Schmitt and his landscaping team for their hard work and talent.
California Outreach
Dr. Dave Menton and I will be speaking this Saturday, Sunday, and Monday for a special Answers for Darwin conference. You can find out more about the meetings from the AiG calendar.
Devotion
Can Must Will
(Luke 8:16) No man, when he has lighted a candle, covers it with a vessel, or puts it under a bed; but sets it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.
We obey the Lord of the gospel as we go from Can to Must to Will; we can preach the gospel to the lost, we must preach the gospel, we will preach the gospel.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
