Noah’s Ark Book Wins Award
Published July 15th, 2009 in Around AiG, Museum UpdatesThe book Noah’s Ark: Thinking Outside the Box (authored by Tim Lovett, the designer of the Noah’s Ark exhibit at our Creation Museum), won the brand-new award in the “Christian Education” category of the Retailers Choice Awards at the International Christian Retail Show in Colorado this year!
Congratulations to Tim Dudley, president of New Leaf Publishing Group (the major creation book publisher in the world), Tim Lovett, and all involved in bringing this book to life! The Christian retailing website states:
Winners have been announced in the 2009 Retailers Choice Awards, sponsored by Christian Retailing magazine. More than 250 products were nominated in 30 categories, with the winning products revealed during a press conference July 13, 2009, at the International Christian Retail Show in Denver.
Nominated products were judged on the impact they have had on staff and customers, including their ability to speak to hearts and evoke emotion, open minds to new ways of thinking and encourage and affirm Christlike living.

Noah’s Ark: Thinking Outside the Box has been a very popular book—you can obtain it from the AiG online bookstore (or purchase it at the Dragon Hall bookstore in the Creation Museum).
Live Presentations Popular at Creation Museum
On most days at the Creation Museum, one of AiG’s dynamic speakers gives one or more presentations in the Special Effects Theater. These live presentations have proven to be very popular. Because this theater only seats around 220, we often have to turn people away—which is why we usually end up repeating the live talk to try to fit everyone in. Please pray for the funds to build a multi-purpose room (which we have already designed) so we can fit in the hundreds of people who want to hear these presentations each day.
Today and tomorrow, one of the world’s best creation speakers will give talks in the museum’s theater: special guest speaker Dr. Gary Parker. See the schedule here.
I have included photographs from yesterday showing museum guests lined up around the Special Effects Theater, back through the Main Hall, and even into the Dragon Hall bookstore, all of them waiting to hear a lecture:
Devotion
Accepted
(Romans 5:10) For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
We know that we are reconciled with God by one fact: the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ in which we see one clear message: His death for us was accepted.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
