More Dinosaurs Coming
Published September 30th, 2009 in Ministry Updates, My Journeys
In between speaking at churches and conducting special programs (concerts, workshops, etc.) at the Creation Museum, dinosaur sculptor Buddy Davis is working on some new metal dinosaurs that will have a special place in the Creation Museum gardens. They will be covered in lights and be a part of the spectacular Bethlehem’s Blessings live nativity and Christmas light program. Here are some photographs of Buddy working on the new dinos:

Thousands of Children and Teenagers Hear Creation Apologetics
Published September 29th, 2009 in Feedback, My Journeys
At the two school assemblies for the Answers for Darwin conference yesterday in Portland, Oregon, around 2000 teenagers (junior–senior high) and 1600 children (K–6) from Christian schools, homeschools, and a number who had permission to leave public school turned out to take in the two one-hour sessions I presented, covering topics such as dinosaurs, the age of earth, natural selection, etc., with an emphasis on biblical authority and the gospel.
During the break, one young man came and asked me to autograph the AiG book (an older edition of the dinosaur book) and said, “This is the book the ...
Auditorium Packed for First Night in Oregon
Published September 28th, 2009 in Feedback, My Journeys
For the first evening of the Portland, Oregon, “Answers For Darwin” conference, 2,500 people filled the auditorium (with some spillover)—with an estimated 80% coming from churches outside the church we used for the conference.
Over the years, the Lord has enabled Answers in Genesis to build up a reputation in this state—many people have heard us at various conferences here and have spread the word! From the comments I received from people, AiG resources are being widely used (see some of the comments below) and have had a significant impact on Christians in what is known as a very liberal/humanistic ...
AiG and South Korea
Published September 27th, 2009 in Feedback, Ministry Updates, My Journeys
Our AiG team of Patrick Marsh and David Crandall has finalized their trip to South Korea and both report wonderful success and many new opportunities for AiG in this country that is 30% Christian. On his last day in South Korea, Dr. Crandall met with the leadership team of KACR (Korean Association of Creation Research) . AiG has had a long history with KACR, which is something of a sister creation ministry. KACR has 1,200 dues-paying members and 20,000 online members. Like AiG, they have a website and realize between 6,000 and 10,000 connections daily, I am told. The KACR ...
Reaching the Next Generation
Published September 26th, 2009 in My Journeys
I praise the Lord for the opportunity yesterday to speak to thousands of students at Liberty University. I not only spoke at convocation, but also spent two hours at a special question and answer session in the afternoon. It has been thrilling to already receive comments from students in regard to the effect of the ministry on their lives. As part of our ministry to students, we offered them the new Pocket Series of books at an extra special price—students crowded around the tables afterwards to take advantage of this offer. Here are some photographs taken at yesterday’s ...
Speaking in First Baptist–Atlanta
Published September 25th, 2009 in My Journeys
Many of you will have heard of Dr. Charles Stanley, senior pastor of First Baptist Church, Atlanta. Dr. Stanley has a worldwide TV ministry and is very highly respected throughout the world. I have the privilege and honor of speaking at both morning church services, and a special evening session at his church, on October 4. You can find more details from the AiG online calendar.
The Association of Christian Retailing website wrote up this event as follows:
Master Books author to be guest speaker
Join author Ken Ham on Oct. 4 as the featured guest speaker of Dr. Charles F. ...
The Message Spreads
Published September 24th, 2009 in My Journeys, Thoughts and Things
It is thrilling to see how people are using Answers in Genesis resources to equip and challenge. I received an email advertising our very popular DVD apologetics series by Brian Edwards on How Do We Know the Bible is True? to be shown in a home in Rancho Santa Fe, California. How about considering doing something like this for your area?
Here is a sample of that home study group’s promotional materials:

AiG at Liberty University
Published September 23rd, 2009 in Ministry Updates, My Journeys
On Friday morning at 10:00 a.m., I will be addressing over 11,000 students at the Vine Center at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, for their morning convocation. You can find out more from the AiG calendar. Please pray for this event that can reach so many of the next generation.
Japan Report
Yesterday at a staff meeting for the AiG staff, I gave them a report with photographs of my recent speaking trip to Japan. It was a really good reminder to pray for the people of Japan—only 0.1 percent are considered Christian. Here are ...
Surprise, Surprise!
Published September 22nd, 2009 in Thoughts and Things
Now here is a surprise for you—a “godless atheist” who visited the Creation Museum gave a lecture at Purdue University yesterday against the Creation Museum. A “godless atheist” would disagree with what the Creation Museum teaches?!
The lecture was described this way:
When Dinosaurs Walk with God—A godless biologist’s trip to the Creation Museum Presentation . . . President of the Society of Non-Theists and Purdue senior majoring in Genetics and Evolution . . . This summer [she] visited the Creation Museum, a multi-million dollar enterprise by Answers in Genesis to spread the gospel of literal Biblical Creation. The ...
AiG in South Korea
Published September 21st, 2009 in Feedback, Ministry Updates
Patrick Marsh (who headed up the design of our Creation Museum) and David Crandall (international director of AiG WorldWide) are currently in South Korea meeting with the leadership of the 20,000-member Flower Garden Church about their desire to build a Creation Museum in their country. The church had sent a team to America to visit AiG and was so impressed with the museum that they went home to begin planning their own—which they want to model after our Creation Museum.
Dr. Crandall preached at all six services of this ...
