Presidential Visits
Published June 21st, 2009 in Around AiG, Ministry Updates
No—not the President of the USA! Imagine what the press would say if he ever visited the Creation Museum!!
Three college presidents have toured the Creation Museum in the past four weeks. The most recent one was on Friday—Dr. Robert Imhoff of Mid-Continent University, who came here at the suggestion of his colleague Faris Sahawneh (a computer science instructor at the school; as a former museum visitor, he has become huge museum booster). This Southern Baptist-affiliated school is located in western Kentucky. See www.midcontinent.edu
Also, on Thursday, Dr. Bob and Elaine Kohl of South Dakota visited us with two ...
Already Gone in the News
Published June 17th, 2009 in Ministry Updates, Press Coverage
Our new book Already Gone is beginning to get considerable coverage in the Christian media. Not only am I now doing daily radio interviews (three for today, for instance) concerning this book, but various news items are appearing on the web. For instance, this one is from the very popular site World Net Daily:
Why are young people leaving the church?
Groundbreaking study says Sunday School makes exit more likely . . .
What does the age of the Earth have to do with the exodus of young people from American churches?
Ken Ham, known for his Answers in Genesis ...
The Halfway Mark
Published June 9th, 2009 in Ministry Updates, My Journeys
A few months ago, I blogged about Answers in Genesis supporter Dan Wooster, who had decided to take on a project to get even more people to the Creation Museum. He wants to raise the support to put advertising flyers in the advertising racks on I-75, which is, we are told, the busiest north-south interstate in America—running from south Florida to the Canadian border—and is within a few miles of our museum.
There is a cost to have a flyer in these racks and, of course, the cost of printing the flyers. Dan has raised half the ...
What Is the Real State of the Nation?
Published June 5th, 2009 in Ministry Updates, My Journeys
On June 25 at 8:00 p.m. EST, we will be doing our first-ever live video webcast from the Creation Museum. I have been gathering interesting information concerning the state of this nation and the church, and together with the research that was the backbone of our new book Already Gone, I want to address the real state of the nation.
Joining me live from the Creation Museum for a live chat after my presentation will be Britt Beemer from America’s Research Group (co-author with me of Already Gone). We want to challenge both church and ...
Space Shuttles and Robots Invade Churches!
Published June 3rd, 2009 in Around AiG, Ministry Updates
Around 2000 churches so far have signed up (with orders still pouring in daily) to use our VBS (vacation Bible school) programs this year—Amazon Expedition (developed last year) and Operation Space released this year. It is thrilling for us to see churches using creative ways to advertise the VBS programs in their area.
Here are photos showing what two churches are doing as they get ready for the Operation Space VBS program:

Creation Museum Website Overhaul
Published May 30th, 2009 in Current Issues in the World, Ministry Updates, Museum Updates
The Creation Museum website (www.creationmuseum.org) has had a complete overhaul. I encourage you to navigate around the new site and visit it regularly for updated information. As well as a continual stream of new material that will be posted, obviously there will be some fine tuning as the new site is tested. Thanks to Joseph David Advertising and AiG’s web team for this great effort. Very soon you will also see a totally overhauled outreach site (for our speakers, conferences, etc.) and the www.answersingenesis.org website will soon have a new look as ...
Two Great Milestones in Creation Ministry
Published May 26th, 2009 in Around AiG, Ministry Updates
Tomorrow, two unique publications arrive in our warehouse—resources that, if many people read and act upon them, could change the face of the church in many ways.
1. Already Gone—This book calls for a “revolution” in the church—featuring statistically valid research that will challenge and shock the church.
Here is a copy of our press release concerning this unique publication:
NEW BOOK MAPS OUT PATH FOR LOST GENERATION TO FIND CHURCH: ‘Already Gone’ Delves into Reasons for Young People’s Exodus.
Ken Ham and renowned researcher Britt Beemer take a penetrating look ...
Already Gone Has Arrived

Yesterday I was thrilled to receive the first copy of Already Gone sent from the binder last night.

As I have stated in other blogs, I believe this is the most important book I have ever participated in. On the back cover is written:
If you look around in your church today, two-thirds of the young people who are sitting among us have already left in their hearts: soon they will be gone for good. This is the alarming conclusion from America’s Research Group led by respected researcher Britt Beemer. The results may ...
A Shock to the Church
Published May 19th, 2009 in Ministry Updates
A new book entitled Already Gone, authored by highly respected market researcher Britt Beamer (from America’s Research Group) and me, will be released this coming Tuesday.
We believe this book is going to be a shock and a wake-up call for the church. In fact, I believe this is the most important book I have ever authored or coauthored. The contents are based on statistical research Britt Beamer conducted for Answers in Genesis (and paid by one of our generous supporters). We interviewed ...
Join Us at the Vancouver Olympic Games February 2010
Published May 12th, 2009 in Around AiG, Ministry Updates
Over 20 people have already committed themselves to be involved in the Answers in Genesis Olympics Ministry in Vancouver, British Columbia, in 2010. All of the housing, feeding, and transportation arrangements are finalized in Vancouver, and several folks from Vancouver itself have called to volunteer help. One caller yesterday even offered a house on top of Whistler Mountain where the Olympics skiing venue will take place. God is already bringing together a fantastic team to minister at the Winter Games.
Dr. David Crandall, who is directing this ...
