Which God Are We Talking About?

Since the secular paleontologists visited the Creation Museum recently and it was covered by major media outlets like the New York Times and the Associated Press, there have been a plethora of articles associated with their comments about their museum visit. Many media outlets reprinted various versions of the AP article—others wrote different articles—and there have been numerous bloggers writing about it. And, of course, as is usual, the majority mock AiG’s stand on the Word of God. To them, Darwinian evolution can’t be questioned, and they don’t understand why we can believe the account in Genesis. They ...

New York Times on Creation Museum Visit by Paleontologists

The New York Times published an article on Tuesday about the visit to the Creation Museum by a group of paleontologists recently. It is interesting reading—and, of course, not surprising at all to see the comments made by these evolutionary scientists. I thought I would quote the first paragraph and comment—and then you can read the entire article at the link below. The first paragraph of the article entitled “Paleontology and Creationism Meet but Don’t Mesh” states: Tamaki Sato was confused by the dinosaur exhibit. The placards described the various dinosaurs as originating from different geological periods—the stegosaurus ...

The Hypocrisy of It All

Atheist Richard Dawkins, according to the press in the United Kingdom, is helping to subsidize a summer retreat on atheism and evolution for children (such retreats already take place in the USA). The headline for the article in the Mail Online states: Richard Dawkins Launches Children’s Summer Camp for Atheists So what is the hypocrisy in regard to this? After the group of around 70–80 secular paleontologists visited the Creation Museum recently, some comments were made to the press (several media outlets were here that day) concerning the Creation Museum attracting so many children and how terrible this was—that we ...

“They’re Out-Breeding Us”

Yesterday, around 80 paleontologists from across America—who were attending a conference in Cincinnati—visited the Creation Museum. A number of secular media representatives (e.g., Associated Press, local Channel 12, the New York Times, Agence Presse [European news service], the Cincinnati Enquirer) accompanied them. Our staff treated them as graciously as we treat any visitor, and we were pleased to welcome them. We realized that many of their responses (and quotes in various media) would not be complimentary towards the message of the museum (that the Bible’s history in Genesis is true). But we certainly did hear complimentary comments ...

Dinosaurs and Saddles

Those who oppose the Creation Museum, having by and large given up on trying to argue logically and scientifically against the information presented in its exhibits, are resorting more and more to a mocking, scoffing, and a ridiculing approach.  It seems their philosophy is this: “If you throw enough mud, some will stick.” One of the ways these opponents have tried to belittle and ridicule the Creation Museum is by using a children’s item at the museum that is not an exhibit, and taking it out of context and trying to make an issue of something in a way ...

They Can’t Help Themselves

It seems no matter what complaining people write about concerning our Creation Museum, these humanists just can’t help themselves—they just have to have a go at us. It must really get under their skin that Christians, in this era of increasing hatred against the God of creation and His Word, are boldly proclaiming the truth of God’s Word through such a visible place as the Creation Museum. In an article yesterday on a website run by a Billy Reed, who describes himself as “… longtime Kentucky-based newspaper columnist, magazine writer, radio talk-show host and guest, TV ...

Already Gone in the News

Our new book Already Gone is beginning to get considerable coverage in the Christian media. Not only am I now doing daily radio interviews (three for today, for instance) concerning this book, but various news items are appearing on the web. For instance, this one is from the very popular site World Net Daily: Why are young people leaving the church? Groundbreaking study says Sunday School makes exit more likely . . . What does the age of the Earth have to do with the exodus of young people from American churches? Ken Ham, known for his Answers in Genesis ...

Why Are the Secularists So Upset and Angry?

A number of secular humanists in America and the UK reacted with anger and frustration yesterday (and the usual vile and emotional language we are accustomed to seeing in regard to Answers in Genesis and the Creation Museum). Why? Well, on Sunday, the front page of the BBC website published an article about the Creation Museum. But why the anger? Because, the writer didn’t use vile language, didn’t seem to belittle the museum, didn’t emotionally attack (though no doubt it is written in a way that will prompt the British to mock anyway)—the author ...

Watch #81 in the NASCAR Race

A couple of times this week, I've mentioned a new venture that will advertise the Creation Museum to thousands of people—and will even be on national TV. In case you haven't figured it out yet, the museum's logo and branding are being wrapped on the #81 car for the Meijer 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at the Kentucky Speedway, located about 45 minutes south of the museum. On Wednesday evening, our publicist issued a press release to announce our partnership with MacDonald Motorsports. Here's an excerpt: The world-renowned Creation Museum will have its logo prominently featured in an unlikely ...

Home Schooler “Impersonates” Ken Ham

It is encouraging to see many examples of how the Answers in Genesis ministry is influencing lives around the world. Recently, I found out about a homeschool ministry called Living Science that stands on the same statement of faith as AiG and conducts a science project for students. One of the students presented a very interesting project—impersonating a young Ken Ham! Living Science is not a school. According to its website, it is a study center committed to providing academically excellent learning opportunities in science and other subjects. It ministers to homeschooling families and is a place ...
