Even though last week was a short week, many things were still accomplished here at the museum. Outside, the irrigation system ââ?¬Å?winterizingââ?¬? was completed and work continued on the third waterfall near the bridge. We also had our first snowfall of the season on Wednesday and it was extremely beautiful, for those of us who like the cold weather.

Last week the Dragon Hall Bookstore was busy with the fabrication team finishing the soundproof walls for the Planetarium and drywall contractors hanging drywall over the rubber membrane. This past week, work continued throughout the museum, both inside and outside. Hi, I am LeRoy and I am the Facilities Manager. I manage the fabrication and maintenance of the beautiful, 95,000 sq. ft. building here at AiG. The building houses the offices, warehouse, workshop and museum.

Last week was another exciting week here at the museum. It started off with new scenery above the lobby entry doors. A muralist painted the sky above the rocks that are located on the landing above the doors and he will be coming back to paint more scenes on this space in the coming weeks.
