As we draw closer and closer to the premiere of “Road to Bethlehem” on December 12th, things are starting to take shape all over the Museum. Inside, finishing touches are being made to the various costumes. We expect to have 18-20 cast members for the “Road to Bethlehem” experience. These actors will be in various roles both in the city of Jerusalem as well as the town of Bethlehem and will interact with each other and guests as they bring the realistic settings to life.
Part of the realistic scenery is pictured here as the Museum design team is working with sets and props to create “vendors” for the bustling city of Jerusalem. Some of the vendors are real, and guests can actually purchase wares such as hand made pots made of Turkish clay, and honey made from hives right here on Creation museum grounds.
Another noteworthy aspect of BethlehemÂ’s Blessings is what is happening outside. It is worth the trip to Greater Cincinnati this holiday season just to see the breathtaking light display spread across Museum grounds.
Just shy of 60,000 lights were used to create an amazing display of color and beauty. Like all displays at the Creation Museum, the lights are professionally done and very unique. Where else will you find pink and purple lights on trees at Christmas time, and bright green lights in the shape of dinosaurs? Once you see these amazing lights, youÂ’ll be sure to make viewing our Christmas lighting display a family tradition. DonÂ’t miss it!
