AiG’s Spanish DVDs are being used in Mexico to reach people with the vital creation/gospel message. Here is a message from a pastor of a church where I spoke a couple of years ago and presented the church with a set of our Spanish DVDs (the DVD set consists of six of my talks translated into Spanish when I was in Saltillo, Mexico, a few years ago for a conference):
I want you to know that the video conferences you gave us are bringing so much blessings to our brothers and sisters as well to some non-christian friends of mine. I have been using them in my classes and teachings. I have made various copies of them and have shared them with another pastors and churches, and they have told me that are really good. Thank you very much for your help and your willingness to share this invaluable material with us.
You can obtain the Spanish videos from the AiG website.
Follow-up to the Cincinnati Zoo/Creation Museum Controversy
It’s been a major local story (but it also made some national headlines) that just won’t go away: our local Cincinnati Zoo, after about a 2-day relationship with our Creation Museum (the zoo offered a combo ticket with us at a discount), pulled out when the zoo was flooded with emails and phone calls from evolutionists protesting the zoo’s tie-in with our museum. (See previous blog items.)
One of our local supporters attended a theatrical production in Cincinnati presented at the Showboat Majestic, which is a floating theater right on the Ohio River. It’s known to present humor about local events and politics. Here is what supporter Dave E. shared with us about what he saw last Saturday night at this theater:
Host on stage (paraphrasing here):
“Thank you all for coming, and special thanks to those of you who used the coupons from our partnership with the Cincinnati Zoo. Ah, wait a minute . . .”
Another performer walked up and whispered something in the host’s ear, and then the host announced:
“What? They canceled that? Uh??? Oh, I’m sorry. Oh well, thanks anyway for coming.”
And the dialogue went on.
We were told that the place roared with laughter, which meant that everyone (several hundred) got it!
The Creation Museum gets mentioned even in the most unusual of places.
Live Nativity/The “Road To Bethlehem”
The live nativity and “Road to Bethlehem” at the Creation Museum is on again tonight and tomorrow night from 6:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m. Find out more information from the Creation Museum website.
Press upon Him to hear
(Luke 5:1) And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret.
With such a desire to draw close to the Lord Jesus Christ, our Bible reading is transformed into a pressing upon Him to hear the Word of God.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
