Creation Museum Free on Thursday

As a special gift to the community, Creation Museum admission will be free on Christmas Eve, December 24, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., closing early for the holiday so that staff can be home with their families. We appreciate the continued support we receive from our friends in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region and want to take this opportunity to say thank you during this special time.

As a reminder that Christ’s salvation is a gift to us, our free day is our Christmas gift to the community.

Visitors from Way up North

After hearing me speak recently at Northland University in Wisconsin (a Christian/creationist university), Denny and Alicia Vauters (who both work at the university) could not wait any longer to see the museum and made plans to stop in while visiting family in South Carolina. Denny works in the Northland Center for Global Opportunities, while Alicia teaches classes in literature and English as a Second Language. Both were amazed at the spectacular Christmas lighting and equally impressed with the quality of the museum.

Here are two photographs taken of them at the museum:

Fire in My Bones

Many people have viewed the DVD entitled Fire in My Bones, which is a video of me giving my testimony as to how the AiG ministry and Creation Museum vision came about—going back to my childhood days in Australia. One person wrote us after viewing the DVD:

My Sunday school class and I watched ‘Fire In My Bones’ during our session yesterday morning. Thank you so much for sending the video for us to view; it encouraged all of us to leave behind a legacy that is Godly. Your father is an inspiration to all the parents in the class, who now realize that they must not only teach their children Christian values, but more importantly, demonstrate those values and beliefs, and to be bold in standing up for God’s Word against any that compromise.

The way you described your father, approaching the minister after service to show him Scripture, reminded me a lot of my mother-in-law. She is a Godly woman, who does not compromise on God’s Word and what the Spirit reveals. A few weeks ago, the choir was practicing a song that misconstrued God’s Word, so she stood up and said, “Our preacher has been preaching his heart out every Sunday. Haven’t any of you been listening?” Then she went around and collected the lyrics from everyone and threw them in the trash. That is the kind of legacy that I want to leave behind.

Thank you for everything. I appreciate your testimony and everything that you do to serve the Lord and minister to others. You are in my prayers.

Devotion

Saw no man, save Jesus only

(Matthew 17:8) And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.

Anxiety is to lose sight of the Lord Jesus Christ and see only troubles; peace is to lift our eyes and see only the Lord Jesus Christ.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
