A Must for Christian Leaders

Johnny Hunt

With a few weeks to go, Answers in Genesis is calling all pastors and other Christian leaders to join prominent Pastor Johnny Hunt for our third annual Answers for Pastors conference. Dr. Hunt is the pastor of First Baptist Church of Woodstock, Georgia, one of America’s premier churches, and he is also the former president of the Southern Baptist Convention.

To be held here at the Creation Museum, September 18–20 (Tuesday–Thursday), this conference for Christian leaders not only affords the opportunity to hear from Dr. Hunt but also be equipped in apologetics by Ken Ham of AiG—and to tour the renowned high-tech museum.

Dr. Hunt will share from his varied experiences to bless and encourage the Christian leaders who attend. Dr. Hunt, Ken, Dr. David Menton, Dr. Andrew Snelling, Steve Ham, and Pastor Brad Bigney (a superb communicator) will present three days of excellent Bible teaching. Pastors and other church leaders who attend will be better equipped to stand on God’s Word in a changing culture.

For the wives of these leaders, Dr. Georgia Purdom will host special sessions. We will also have Tim McKenzie, presenting two highly unique presentations combining the spoken Word with multimedia to create worshipful Scriptural journeys.

Of course, with this unique conference being held in our Legacy Hall, every attendee gets free admission to the Creation Museum next door.

You can receive 50 percent off each additional leader from the same church, a discount which also applies to a pastor’s wife.

By the way, October is Pastor Appreciation month. Every fall, congregations are encouraged to honor their pastor during Pastor Appreciation month. What better way to do this than to send your pastor and other church leaders to three days of refreshing Bible teaching and fellowship with other like-minded leaders? Now is the time to start planning to send your pastor to this Answers in Genesis Answers for Pastorsconference.

Better yet, why not sponsor your pastor or other church leaders to come? Of course, their registration includes complimentary admission to the Creation Museum. There is also an optional special night on Wednesday evening for pastors and their wives to enjoy a romantic dinner (which was a big hit last year).

Now more than ever, pastors and other Christian leaders need to be ready to give answers for the hope that is within us—answers that are found in the Word of God.

Join us or send your pastor to hear these dynamic men of God encourage and equip for today’s changing culture with God’s unchanging Word.

See the complete schedule and register now at www.answersforpastors.org.

Each additional registrant from the same church receives a 50 percent discount on his registration!

“Wild Animal Encounter” at the Museum This Week

After thinking about the concept for several years, and now having an auditorium (Legacy Hall) large enough to handle it, we are pleased to announce that this week that we are finally pairing up two great programs: Buddy Davis’s musical show and Dan Breeding’s popular animal program. All this week, the Creation Museum is hosting “Wild Animal Encounter: A Musical Extravaganza” at noon and 3:00 PM through Saturday, August 11.

Buddy will open with his famous song “It’s Designed to Do,” followed by Dan “the Animal Man” introducing his monitor lizard, then there will be more songs and humor from Buddy—and then more animals, like a large porcupine and an owl. But the best part of the presentation, as our promotional material declares, “is the glory given to God our Creator.”

After a performance, families are welcome to come up and get their pictures taken with Buddy and Dan and one of the unique animals. I am in the middle of my speaking tour of England and N. Ireland, so it’s a pity I’m missing this great program. But don’t miss out yourself.

Here are some photos taken yesterday at  “Wild Animal Encounter: A Musical Extravaganza”:

Also, here is my UK speaking schedule:

Lastly, please pray for our evangelistic team in London. About 100 North American AiG volunteers are sharing their faith on the streets of London during the Olympic Games, and passing out AiG literature. See this article for more information.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
