Hear—the Lie!

The updated, revised, and expanded edition of my bestselling book The Lie: Evolution was released in 2012—and there is no doubt that the message is even more relevant now than it was 25 years ago! Certainly the warnings concerning what would happen if the church and culture continued on a path of undermining biblical authority, as presented in the book in 1987, can be seen happening before our very eyes.

To me, The Lie is really the textbook of the AiG ministry. This book details the importance of the book of Genesis and why Christians will undermine biblical authority and contribute to generations leaving the church, if they compromise with evolution, millions of years, or both. People tell me all the time that this apologetics book really helped them.

90-6-231Well, I’m thrilled to share that The Lie is now available as an audiobook! The 25th anniversary edition of The Lie is unabridged and available as an electronic download on our web store—and we have a very special deal for my blog readers.

Over the years since its publication, many people have said that the message in the book The Lie is a “prophetic”-type message, as it was such a warning to the church—a warning about consequences that today we have now observed happening.

You see, when Christian leaders compromise in Genesis, they undermine Scriptural authority, creating doubt, that erodes confidence in the infallibility of God’s Word. Although such compromise is not a salvation issue per se, it is an authority issue. Today, young people and adults in the church increasingly doubt the Bible’s reliability. As a result, they are leaving the church in droves, usually by college age. And more and more of the church no longer stands on biblical authority in regard to marriage and the abortion issues.

Today, we have Christians who are not only confused when it comes to the historicity of Genesis and the age of the earth, but now they’re even confused about the reality of hell, Adam as a real person, and Christ’s own words about creation, marriage, and more doctrines. These issues are of critical importance!

That’s why I want The Lie to be available in more than just book format. The audiobook can be listened to at home or on the road, making it a great format for those who might not have the time to sit down and read a book.

One compromise just leads to another—and it has to end if we want to leave a legacy of faith to future generations! I urge you to visit our web store and order The Lie audiobook. Now, The Lie audiobook retails at $18.99, but in our online store we have it for just $14.99. And as a special deal just for readers of my blog, when you enter the promo code LIEAUDIO5 during the checkout process, you’ll receive an additional $5 off the price!

You won’t regret taking the time to listen to The Lie. You’ll be emboldened to stand firmly on the authority of Scripture in every area.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,

Ken
