Hundreds of teachers fill out the survey in order to register for the $100 prize drawing

Here's a teacher filling out the questionnaire.

Here are the questions from the survey. It was designed to get truth in front of them. We used lots of Scriptures because we have confidence that the Word of God will not return void. The surveys fulfilled their purpose in that the teachers stayed around the booth longer for us to talk with them about the truth of creation and Christ.

Survey must be filled out completely to qualify for daily prize drawing. Winner must be present at draw time to claim prize.

The Bible says "By grace you have been saved through faith and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works so that no one can boast." Do you consider yourself a Christian? Yes No Other ______________

It is written "For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." Do you believe in God? Yes No Other

The Bible states that "Every word of God is tested" "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching." Do you believe the Bible is infallible and inerrant? Yes No Other _____________________________________

Dr. J. Sarfati (Ph.D in Physical Chemistry) states "Adaptation and natural selection are biological facts; amoeba-to-man evolution is not. Natural selection can only work on the genetic information present in a population of organisms—it cannot create new information. For example, since no known reptiles have genes for feathers, no amount of selection will produce a feathered reptile. Mutations in genes can only modify or eliminate existing structures, not create new ones." Do you believe in Darwinian (amoeba-to-man) evolution?

The Bible says " The first to plead his case seems right, until another comes and examines him." Have you ever researched the problems with evolutionary theory? Yes No Other ____________________________________

The Bible says "For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day." How old do you believe the earth is?

Billions of years

The Word of God states "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." Do you believe evolution is a fact or a belief system about the past?

The Bible clearly teaches that on the sixth day "God saw everything that He had made and behold it was very good." Is it within the realm of possibility that a model of origins other than Darwinian evolution could be true?

And will you post the results of your survey?

Go on. Will you tell us? You attended a conference to advocate teaching a belief that is not only egregiously incorrect but unlawful in the U.S.A. You took the surveys. Presumably you collated the results. Tell us: what did people say? Give us the un-spun truth. I am guessing that most non-Christians sided with Evolution. This would be unsurprising. But do you dare to tell us just how many *Christians* sided with you? I wonder if the survey you took confirmed the results of the recent survey that said that 95% of *Evangelicals* regard the teachings of AiG as "bizarre", "incorrect" or "unscriptural". How many *Christians* regard what you do as deceptive and shameful? I know many, many Christian Science teachers who feel exactly that way. Of course, my challenge is moot. Of course you won't reveal the results of that survey, precisely because the results would be tremendously damaging to your cause. If you support the Gospel of Jesus (which is Truth) with discredited sophistry (which are Lies) then it's no wonder you and your organisation bear the blame for damaging the Body of Christ so badly through your evil work. You should be ashamed. Your ignorance of not only the Natural World which God gave you, but who also gave you the faculties to comprehend, ought to make you feel the deepest shame at the need you feel to "prop up" Scripture with lies.

Survey results...

Mr, Anonymous,

I have not tallied the results of the surveys, nor do I plan to. The purpose of the survey was two-fold: 1) to get teachers thinking about spiritual things including the creation vs. evolution topic and 2) to draw folks into our booth via the cash prize drawing who otherwise may have just passed by. I believe both purposes were accomplished and thus I have no desire to tally the results.

As to your conjecture that 95% of Evangelicals consider the Bible’s teaching that God created thousands of years ago and not billions as ‘bizarre’, I can only say, check your sources. That ‘survey’ sounds like it deserves the adjectives you have reserved for AiG. As for us supporting the truth with lies, no such thing has happened. I am not ashamed to preach the gospel and the truth of a literal six day creation and certainly don’t need to lie to do that.

If any professing Christian were to prop up Scripture with lies, they need to understand the truth that the ends do not justify the means. God wants His children to obey Him and do His will in the means as well as the ends. Evil means don’t justify righteous ends. For example if I desired to show you that your current belief system about origins is foolish, I could call you a fool, judge your motives and generally demean your character. However, I don’t think the means justifies the ends. Rather, since it seems you are a professing Christian, I would show you from Scripture how God created everything in six days and appeal to the authority of the Bible to encourage you to humble yourself and let God tell you how long He took rather than you tell Him. (By the way, the ‘Natural World’ is corrupted and cursed whereas the Bible is perfect and infallible, thus ‘nature’ should not be likened to a 67th book of the Bible.)

May the Lord cause you to humble yourself, repent of your wrong beliefs and trust in His holy word for all matters of life and faith.
