New TV Commercial
Published May 14th, 2009 in Around AiGYesterday morning at our Answers in Genesis staff meeting, Beckie Manley from Joseph David Advertising gave the staff a preview of the new TV commercial for the Creation Museum. This particular one is a 15-second advertisement that promotes the planetarium (we call the Stargazers Room). This and the previous commercials (which won awards in the secular world) are very cutting edge—very professional. We praise the Lord for our consultants at JDA who produce such award-winning marketing tools for AiG and the Creation Museum.
Here is a photo of Beckie as she showed the commercial to the staff yesterday:
Creation College Advertised on Illustrator Site
It is thrilling to see how many outside the AiG ministry help advertise AiG and its various programs. AiG illustrator and cartoonist Dan Lietha, who will be giving a session at the upcoming Creation College 3 in July sent me a link to an illustrator he met online who included an item on his website about Dan’s appearance at Creation College 3.
Creationist Cartoonist at College in Kentucky
Cartoonist and illustrator Dan Lietha will be one of the speakers at Creation College 3 in Lakeside Park, Kentucky, near Cincinnati, Ohio USA. The event will be held 20–24 July 2009 and is hosted by the Answers in Genesis (AiG) apologetics ministry. Lietha started a comic strip in 1994 called CreationWise after being inspired by the “Creation Evangelism” message of Ken Ham, founder of AiG–US. After submitting this strip to Ham, Lietha was contracted to draw an AiG children’s book, A Is for Adam, and then was hired by AiG full-time in 1997. In addition to producing artwork for most of AiG’s books and videos, Lietha draws the After Eden cartoon panel, which has been compiled into the book Welcome to Life After Eden. Lietha also teaches “Drawing Dinosaurs” workshops at AiG’s Creation Museum.

By the way, this is a reminder for you about the upcoming Creation College 3. Nearly 800 have now pre-registered for this week-long event, which takes place near our Creation Museum. You can find out more about this major conference on the AiG website.
Devotion
Make their decision
(Joshua 24:15) And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
We declare the beauty of the gospel to the lost, but the dignity of the gospel is that it can be received or rejected, and we have to let the lost make their decision.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
