AiG Search Tools that Equip You to Find Answers

Do you struggle with finding answers to your questions about the Bible and the Christian faith? If so, then you will definitely want to learn about some of the search tools and features of our website. When we updated answersingenesis.org last spring, we added several helpful search tools so that you can find answers faster and easier than before.

Here are some useful tips for searching on our site that the web team has shared with me:

• You can choose which category you want to search by using the tabs beneath the search bar. You can chose between just searching for “articles,” “store,” “media” (such as images or videos), or "blogs," or simply type a question, topic, or keyword into the search bar, hit enter, and then you can easily narrow your search from “all” to one of these four categories just by clicking on the desired category.
• Our search engine has automatic spelling correction (e.g. “answerrs” searches for “answers”).
• Product or store results feature the price, the product image, and an “Add to Cart” button (e.g. “dinosaurs for kids”).
• When you put a word or phrase in quotes, the results will only include pages with the same words in the same order as what's inside the quotes. This is especially helpful if you are looking for an exact phrase but can’t remember where you read it. But only use this feature if you're looking for an exact word or phrase; otherwise, you'll exclude many helpful results by mistake.

In addition to these helpful search engine features, we also have many resources on our site that you might not be familiar with. Did you know that we have over 10,000 articles that have been separated into topics and subtopics under our Answers section for easy browsing? We also have more than 30 free online books including titles such as The New Answers Book 1, How Could A Loving God...?, and Already Gone, which can also be purchased in our store as a book, DVD, mobile version, and so on. On the Media section of our website, you can also access dozens of free videos, the Answers with Ken Ham radio programs, and creation-themed cartoons.
