Yes, Jesus Really Did Come as Our Emmanuel

We have a new exhibit coming to the Ark Encounter that will proclaim—and defend—this truth in a unique way: through a scale model of first-century Jerusalem!

We’re celebrating the glorious truth of the incarnation at both of our attractions this month with our ChristmasTown and ChristmasTime programs. And, of course, the truth of God in flesh is also proclaimed year-round through the exhibits, videos, daily presentations, and more. And we have a new exhibit coming to the Ark Encounter that will proclaim—and defend—this truth in a unique way: through a scale model of first-century Jerusalem!

This indoor model will be one of the world’s largest and will certainly be the most accurate and technologically advanced. Through the intricate details, integrated technology, and highlighted archaeological finds, we will show guests that, yes, Jesus really did step into history like the Bible says he did and, yes, the Gospels accurately record what he said and did, including his death and resurrection. We will also share the gospel and make sure guests understand the importance of some of Jesus’ last words to his disciples as he gave us all the great commission.

I’m so excited that this exhibit is coming to the Ark Encounter. It’s fully funded, and now we’re fundraising for the building that will both house this exhibit and be a much-needed welcome center. The new Jerusalem model building and Welcome Center is the focus of our 2022 end-of-year campaign.
