Which Creation Museum Exhibit Changes Every Day?

During our very busy summer season, we’ve had days where we’ve seen license plates from over 40 states on the same day!

As you walk around the parking lot, you’ll notice there are license plates from all across the country. It is not unusual at the Creation Museum and Ark to see license plates from more than 30 states on any given day. During our very busy summer season, we’ve had days where we’ve seen license plates from over 40 states on the same day! And our public safety department has recorded license plates from all 50 states over the years—yes, even from Hawaii!

We also have visitors coming from other countries. I’ve been meeting an increasing number of people from Canada, Europe, Latin America, and Australia since the COVID shutdowns in 2020. This is one of the reasons the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter have such economic impact on Northern Kentucky.

Our research has documented that 92% of those visiting the Creation Museum and Ark are from outside Kentucky. Most of these people stay in hotels, bed and breakfasts, or rent homes while they’re here. And, of course, our visitors eat at local restaurants. Just last week, one of our staff members was at a local restaurant to collect a lunch order for an office meeting, and the manager of the restaurant recognized the Ark and Creation Museum logos on the staff member’s shirt. That manager said to please thank the leaders of the attractions for helping his business so much. He also said the Creation Museum and Ark visitors are such nice, well-behaved people. He was extremely complimentary toward our guests and the ministry and was thankful for the business.

Many of our Ark and museum visitors also decide to make Northern Kentucky their vacation destination for the year, so they visit other attractions like the National Museum of the United States Air Force in Dayton, Ohio (one of my favorite places, and it’s just over an hour from the Creation Museum—and it’s free!), the Kentucky Horse Park, Kentucky Kingdom, Newport Aquarium, BB Riverboats (great Ohio River cruises), and so on.

What a blessing to be able to equip people to defend the Christian faith and impact their lives for Christ in this increasingly spiritually dark culture. Make Northern Kentucky your vacation destination and come visit the world’s two leading Christian themed attractions. Oh, and don’t forget, children 10 and under are free in 2023!

Northern Kentucky has become the biggest faith-based tourist destination in America.
