So you want to visit the Grand Canyon

Over the last 2 months it's been amazing to see the responses from AiG's message. I have personally seen 15 people receive the Lord and over 20 make commitments to serve God in a more active role.

I've had some amazing responses to the One Blood message that have been HUGE encouragements. Interestingly they both took place in North Carolina but, in two different cities.

After speaking in the first church I had a lady who came up to me who was very encouraged. She explained that their daughter had married a Christian man from a different culture. She shared with me that they had never invited them to attend church with them because they were ashamed. They were so embarrassed after hearing the talk and were going to speak with their daughter and son-in-law.

The pastor from the same church sent an email 3 days later telling us of a meeting that he had just had with one of the families in his church who had also attended the seminar. He shared that this couple had just left his office in tears. Their daughter, who is a senior in high school, has been dating a Christian young man of a different culture for the last 2 years.

They had totally rejected him and their relationship with their daughter had suffered as a consequence. After hearing the One Blood message the parents went home and sat down with their daughter and apologized. As a result their family relationship has been totally restored and they just had to thank the pastor for having AiG come and share.

In the other church in North Carolina after the talk I had a man come up to me in tears. He said, "My wife and daughter are home sick and I wasn't going to come tonight. I'm so glad that I did, you changed my life!" The next night he, his wife and his daughter were all present.

On the flip-side though there were about four folks who left after the One Blood talk and a few that expressed concern to the pastors. To their credit the Pastors stood their ground and were very supportive to Jim and myself while we were there.

Please pray for Pastors across the globe who are standing on the Word of God.

Grand Canyon

It's so exciting to see the responses to next year's Grand Canyon trips. We've already sold out the April trip--unbelievable. It was in part due to the fact that we're doing "Astronomy by Night and Geology by Day" for the first time. Since so many folks wanted to participate in this and we couldn't accommodate we made the decision to add an astronomer to the June trip as well.

You can now take the June trip with Dr. Terry Mortenson and astronomer Dr. Danny Faulkner. I wouldn't wait very long though, this will fill up very quickly as well.
