500,000th Visitor at the Creation Museum

Another historic day in the life of the Creation Museum! The 500,000th visitor came through the door late morning yesterday. Terry Watson with his wife Kim and their three daughters from Hamilton, Ohio, walked in the door and sent the total number of visitors since opening 14 months ago to over 500,000. They had a wonderful surprise waiting for them—free tickets to the Creation Museum, complimentary lunch in Noah’s Café, and the New Answers Book 1 and 2 compliments of AiG.

We praise the Lord for the way He continues to bless AiG and the Creation Museum outreach. Despite all sorts of attacks on this ministry, we are amazed at God’s faithfulness and miraculous provision. Praise the Lord with us.

WCPO Television (ABC Affiliate) Visits Creation Museum on Historic Day

WPCO television of Cincinnati visited the Creation Museum on Thursday morning and did a story featuring the Petting Zoo and the 500,000th visitor. At 5:30 p.m., the crew came back after their morning visit and introduced the piece live from the front of the museum.

Creation Museum Gets 500,000th Visitor On Thursday

While many tourist attractions are reporting high gas and grocery prices are cutting into out-of-town attendance this summer, that’s not the case for one of the Tri-State’s more unusual and controversial attractions.

By mid-day on Thursday, the Creation Museum in Petersburg reports seeing its 500,000th visitor; months ahead of schedule.

Just as $4.00 a gallon gas and significantly higher grocery prices are forcing many families to cut back their summer travel, the Creation Museum reports its attendance continues to grow.

President of Legacy Ministries International Addresses AiG Staff

We were privileged Thursday to have Bud Schindler from Legacy Ministries International address the AiG staff for devotions. AiG has had a great relationship with this ministry, going back into the ‘90s. The flagship for this organization is the Dayton Christian Schools ministry. Many other ministries come under the Legacy Ministries banner.

Bud’s devotional, which can be summed up by the PowerPoint slide in the photograph below, was on the theme of giving praise to the Lord no matter what the circumstances. This was very apt for the staff and for the ministry. You see, the two main people running the PhotoFX section at the museum, Deb and Marty Minnard, received word the evening before that their son-in-law (in his early thirties) had died of leukemia. On Monday, AiG staff will gather for a special time of prayer for the AiG ministry and for the Lord’s protection of the ministry and the AiG staff.

The longer we walk with God the clearer we see life’s choice of either God or Satan, either heaven or hell, either life or death, either the Lord Jesus Christ or not.
