Take a “Behind the Scenes” Look at the Creation Museum

The month of June has quickly come upon us and it reminded me of a unique event occurring here at the Creation Museum later this month.

On Saturday, June 26, starting at 6:00pm, we’ll be holding a very special event at the museum.  After regular visiting hours, you can stroll through the museum’s “walk through biblical history” and encounter our excellent artists and science experts. For example, in the two-story Dinosaur Den, you’ll hear from sculptor and paleo-artist Buddy Davis. You’ll also enjoy a presentation from the Creation Museum’s Stephanie McDorman who manages the museum’s collection of fossils (and many other artifacts). Just before going on the tour, you’ll hear Mark Looy, our CCO, give a special presentation on the history of Answers in Genesis and the Creation Museum.

Cost: $14.95, and $9.95 for additional household members; dessert (optional) will be served at the end of the event and is at an additional cost of $6.00 (includes coffee).

On Memorial Day, the Cincinnati Enquirer had a major article on the three-year anniversary of the museum and the opening of the Kneehigh Museum inside the existing museum (full of child-friendly exhibits).  Read the well-done article on their website.

It is great to see a  real news article rather than many of the anti-creationist/anti-Christian agenda-driven articles we are often used to seeing!

Pray for Our Staff

As I spoke to our dedicated AiG/Creation Museum staff last week, it reminded me of the need to pray for all these dear staff members who put so much into this ministry so people can hear the gospel.  As you view the following photos taken in our SFX Theater last week, please pray for our staff members:

“My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest”

(Exodus 33:12, 14–15)  And Moses said unto the LORD, See, you say unto me, Bring up this people: and you have not let me know whom you will send with me. Yet you have said, I know you by name, and you have  also found grace in my sight . . . And he said, My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest.  And he said unto him, If your presence go not with me, carry us not up here.

When the Lord Jesus Christ calls us to a great work, we anxiously seek a partner and God says He will be our partner; we cling and say if You don’t go, don’t send us.
