Fathers, What Legacy Are You Leaving for Your Children?

He would have loved the Ark. He even made me a small Ark model that’s displayed in the Creation Museum along with his Bible (opened to the book of Genesis, of course, with some of his notes in the margins). He would be thrilled to see how God’s Word is being upheld and the gospel is being boldly proclaimed to millions of people at our attractions and other outreaches.

What legacy are you leaving for your children and grandchildren? Are you leaving a legacy of biblical authority and love of the gospel and kingdom causes? Do your efforts encourage your children to keep eternity always in their focus as they work, play, and invest? When your children think of you, do they see and think of Christ in you? Will they remember you as someone who boldly and unashamedly stood on God’s Word? I encourage you to set an example by honoring and obeying God’s Word so your children can see it.

As our way of helping equip fathers to raise their children in the instruction of the Lord, we’re offering all dads, including grandfathers and expectant dads (because life begins at the moment of fertilization) half-price admission to both the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter tomorrow, June 18, 2017, for Father’s Day.
