Are you a college-age young person with a passion for God’s Word and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics)? If so, you’ll want to check out an exciting opportunity with Camp Infinity (Ci). Ci, directed by Dan Wooster (a board member of AiG), is a unique STEM camp—it’s the only biblical creationist STEM camp that we know of in North America, and it’s usually held near our Creation Museum. Ci brings together hands-on STEM activities with biblical truth and apologetics for academically inclined campers—and you can be part of it as a counselor.

Counselors and teachers for Camp Infinity have these four things in common:

  1. A love for God
  2. A love for STEM
  3. A love for connecting with young people
  4. A love for a worldview with a Genesis foundation

After receiving training, including some from various staff members here at Answers in Genesis, Ci counselors will lead their campers on an in-depth tour of the nearby Creation Museum; help with hands-on STEM activities including experiments, robotics, drones, and more; share about the STEM field they are pursuing; and encourage and fellowship with their campers. With a low camper-to-counselor ratio, counselors have the opportunity to get to know their campers and invest in their lives.

Here’s what some previous counselors have said about their time serving at Camp Infinity:

The best part of the five weeks of camp was by far the team. Over the course of the five weeks, we went from being a team to being a family. God blessed us greatly. We did too many things together to count.

God blessed me with many good campers during my time at Camp Infinity. I had leaders, followers, philosophers, jokers, nerds, and everything in between. God always gave me the campers he knew I needed and could handle. I guarantee I learned far more from them then they learned from me.

The size of the staff was great! I've been in a staff size of more than 80 people, and I could really only get to know a few people and many cliques formed. The size of this staff could really get to know each other well, which also helps when working together, and we could all really go to each other for anything.

And if Ci sounds like the perfect camp for your young person to attend as a camper, check out their teen, junior, or family camps. They are already accepting registrations for summer 2018 (Ci 5.0), and spots are filling up! Also plan to tour the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter.

Register your teen for one of their overnight camps. And until this Friday, September 22, you can register at a greatly reduced rate of $99 a month, over ten months, plus a $99 deposit—that’s a reduction of $310 off the Ci 5.0 rate (the discount will apply after registration). Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
