In one month, families and individuals from across the United States (37 states so far!) will be arriving at the Ark Encounter in Northern Kentucky for our five-day Easter conference, Answering Atheists (April 17–21, 2019). These attendees will tour the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum and hear equipping messages from experts such as Dr. Jason Lisle, Living Waters’ Ray Comfort, Dr. Christopher Cone, and many more. They’ll also enjoy newly produced movies, including two premiering that week.

Answering Atheists is sponsored by our friends over at Pure Flix, and they will be showing their excellent film Indivisible during one of the evening sessions. This film is based on the true story of US army chaplain Darren Turner and his family. It follows Chaplain Turner’s time in Iraq during a 15-month deployment and the struggles he and his family faced when he returned, a changed and struggling man. Through his story, the hope found only in Christ is clearly highlighted. My wife and I really enjoyed this film and you can read AiG’s review of the film here.

I recently chatted with Michael Scott, the CEO, and co-founder of Pure Flix, about our upcoming Easter conference and what people can expect when they come. You can watch that video here:

Two Film Premieres

Two movies will also be premiering at this conference. The first is New Beginning, a new short film from Answers in Genesis. This film follows the story of Shem’s wife to show what life may have been like before, during, and after the flood. It’s a very moving look into the account of Noah’s flood. It will give you a fresh perspective on one of the most dramatic events in earth’s history.

This behind-the-scenes video gives you a sneak peek of this coming film:

The second film that will be premiering is The Fool, a new production from Living Waters. My good friend Ray Comfort of Living Waters will be here at the Ark Encounter for the conference and will introduce the film for its first public showing. This film tells the true story of “Banana Man,” the deprecating nickname given to Ray by prominent atheists. It shows how Ray acquired this nickname and how God used it to open many doors for the gospel.

What a unique experience to have not one but two film premiers, and getting to see one of them alongside Ray Comfort.

At the conference, these films will be playing on the massive 70 x 22 foot LED screen in the brand-new 2,500-seat multi-purpose auditorium, Answers Center. It’s going to look incredible! Eventually, New Beginning will be featured on this screen for all our Ark Encounter guests.

I encourage you to register for this exciting Easter conference using our new multi-day pass options. Learn more and register today at AnsweringAtheists.com.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
