The Bible—How Does It Hold up to Other “Holy Books”?

One-third of the young people in our churches believe “holy books” other than the Bible are inspired by God, according to the research published in my co-authored book Ready to Return. But those books aren’t the infallible, inerrant Word of God. They are simply the ideas of fallible men, and we need to judge their thinking based on the authority of the Word of God.

Bodie Hodge, a speaker and writer at Answers in Genesis, recently sat down with Billy Hallowell for an interview on PureTalk, an interactive online talk show from PureFlix.com. This fascinating interview was filmed in the Answers Center at the Ark Encounter. Bodie discussed the uniqueness of the Bible, how we can know it is the infallible Word of God, other religions, where did God come from, and more—it’s a great conversation in a unique setting. I encourage you to listen to it and share it with others:
