“It Was More Impactful than Seeing the Eiffel Tower . . . Notre Dame, the Statue of Liberty”

We hear from people every day who’ve visited or are visiting our two world-class Christian themed attractions, the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. These people come from all over the world and leave raving reviews. One person from Pennsylvania recently visited and posted that the Ark Encounter was “more beautiful and impactful than seeing the Eiffel Tower, the leaning tower of Pisa, Notre Dame, the Statue of Liberty, the Colosseum and any other man made creation” they had personally seen.

Here is the full review from JW of Pittsburg, PA:

I couldn’t stand not sharing this photo and this experience with you all. If you can make time to go visit the Ark Encounter, I would highly encourage you to do so! It was more beautiful and impactful than seeing the Eiffel Tower, the leaning tower of Pisa, Notre Dame, the Statue of Liberty, the Colosseum and any other man-made creation I have ever personally witnessed.

The information inside was equally fascinating and dare I say, life changing. We approached the ark and [her husband] announced, “This is our Disney World.” He and I have talked about and dreamed about visiting the Ark for almost a decade (since we very first heard about plans to build it). And though I have seen pictures there was nothing like seeing it in person. We are so blessed to have been able to take this trip with our children. In a world that is flooded with misinformation and deception, it was so encouraging to learn more about Truth in science and History. One of my favorite parts was the comparison of the door of the Ark to Jesus. “I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture”‭‭ (John‬ ‭10:9‬).‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

We received another review from a former missionary family who visited the Ark and museum with their son, Josiah, who is seven years old. When Josiah was just 15 weeks in the womb, his water broke, giving him only a 1–2% chance of living. His parents refused the abortion the doctor suggested, and their son was born at 30 weeks (10 weeks early). Since his birth, he’s had severe health issues—including a stroke in utero—but his parents report that he lives with such joy through all his trials. He wanted to visit the Ark and museum and they were finally able to. His parents sent one of our staff members an email after their visit to let us know how much they enjoyed it:

First off, we want to say thank you so much for making us feel just like old friends. Our time with ya'll was just such a sweet fellowship of encouragement and love. I cannot express adequately how grateful we are.

We requested this trip for Josiah to have his wish of camping and hoped to build up our faith in God while on his adventure. You all were a true example of God's love just overwhelming us at every turn. We can see the ministry that God has given to you all, being managed with an abundance of love for Him and that love just overflowing on every person you encountered . . .  .

The past 7 years have been in a somewhat emergency mode of sustaining our little guy and balancing our other children's life and spiritual walk. Oh, to be doing what you all are doing again, what a wonderful thought, encouraging others in the love of Christ, full of excitement and wonder at our creator. We have been abundantly blessed. Thank you so much and we will be praying for each of you and the work God has set before you. Just wow over and over.

There was one moment when I was rolling Josiah through a [bay of] . . . the Ark with many different pictures to read. Most rooms he wanted to just walk through and look, but this room he wanted me to read every word and he guided his finger under every sentence as I read. There were a group of older people there all listening along as we walked and read. We got to the part where the Ark rested on the top of the mountain and Josiah, who had been sitting and listening so contentedly, spoke up and said, "on Mt. Ararat!," loud and clear. Everyone who was listening all stopped and wowed at his sweet knowledge and he was so proud. I didn’t even know he had retained this info from our reading of the Bible. So very awesome.

At one point Josiah said, "They made my wish come true . . . I got to see God’s Ark, play with my friends, and go camping."

He also said, upon seeing the Ark for the very first time, "WOOOOOOW, GOD’S ARK IS GINORMOUS", (which is a ginormous word for him.)

Thank you again for everything but most importantly, thank you for sharing God's love with our family. You have left life-changing impressions on each of our lives.
