During the fall, you’ll find cooler temperatures, allowing you to explore the grounds, zoos, playgrounds, and the museum’s botanical gardens in the pleasant fall sunshine. It’s also a great time to ride our ziplines and enjoy the beautiful fall foliage. In the fall, the sun also sets earlier, so you can experience sunset at the Ark and take some beautiful photographs.

As you can see, no matter the time of year, there are great reasons to plan a trip to Northern Kentucky to visit both our Christian themed attractions!

Free College Expo

Towards the end of the fall season, we’re hosting our final big event before the Christmas season begins. And that event is our 2019 Creation College Expo, November 1–2. We’ve been hosting this Expo for years, but this is the first year it’s taking place at the Ark Encounter, in our brand-new Answers Center.

Our 2019 Creation College Expo features Christian colleges from across the nation, all of whom take a stand on biblical authority, creation, and the age of the earth. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about these schools, speak with the representatives one-on-one, and explore the Ark Encounter—free student admission to the Ark is included with the Expo. And the Expo itself is free for students in grades 7–12!

All attendees receive a free t-shirt and an opportunity to win a $500 scholarship to the school of their choice. Immediate family members attending with their student enjoy 20% off admission to the Ark Encounter, and students and their families also enjoy 20% off Creation Museum admission.
