Are Dinosaurs Birds? It’s More Than Just About Feathers!

Evolutionists often refer to birds as dinosaurs—and, yes, they’re serious; they really believe birds are dinosaurs. I’ve read statements from evolutionists saying that dinosaurs are not extinct: that they are feeding at our backyard bird feeders! The famous nature documentary narrator and naturalist Sir David Attenborough even referred to the roadrunner as a dinosaur in a recent program on North American wonders of nature. In calling birds dinosaurs, evolutionists often focus on feathers and so-called “feathered dinosaurs,” but it takes a lot more than feathers to turn a dinosaur into a bird!

Dr. David Menton, one of our staff scientists, earned a PhD from Brown University (an Ivy League school) and was an award-winning anatomy professor at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis for 34 years before his retirement as an associate professor emeritus. He recently spoke during a morning staff meeting about the bone and anatomical structures of birds and dinosaurs and how radically different they are. It was a shortened version of a talk he sometimes gives for our guests at the Creation Museum.

I thought you would enjoy hearing him speak on this important issue. You can watch that video below:

You can read more about the question of dino-to-bird evolution in Dr. Menton’s chapter from The New Answers Book 1, “Did Dinosaurs Evolve Into Birds?”

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
