A Day in the Life of a Zookeeper

Now, God’s Word teaches that we’re to care for creation, including the animals God has entrusted to us. For example, Proverbs 12:10 says,

Whoever is righteous has regard for the life of his beast,
but the mercy of the wicked is cruel.

We do our best to do that here at the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. That’s why we have highly qualified, well-trained zookeepers to care for our animals. These staff members are vital to the care and well-being of the many animals that call the Eden Zoo and Ararat Ridge Zoo home.

While the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum remained closed to the public, we must continue to house and feed all the animals (who probably miss all our guests!), as well as pay the staff members who care for them.
