Well, the lights have all been hung in trees, along pathways, and on dinosaurs (yes—we have spectacular dinosaurs lit up in Christmas lights scattered throughout the Creation Museum grounds), and we’re ready for your arrival for ChristmasTown at the Creation Museum and ChristmasTime at the Ark Encounter beginning tomorrow, November 27 through December 30, 2020 (select dates—check websites for details).

At ChristmasTown at the Creation Museum, enjoy a spectacular garden of lights, a live nativity, an opportunity to take a spin on our synthetic ice (Glice®) rink, do some Christmas shopping, and more. At ChristmasTime at the Ark Encounter, experience a sea of lights, the life-size Noah’s Ark lit up in rainbow colors, traditional Christmas carols, our “Encounter the Wonder” animated program, Ararat Ridge Zoo, and more.

Both of these incredible Christmas events are free (you just pay $10 for parking).

ChristmasTown and ChristmasTime are wonderful opportunities to take time to reflect on Christ, his incarnation, and his sacrificial death on the cross for us.

You also have the opportunity, after 5 p.m., to enjoy discounted admission into the life-size Ark or the museum walk-through (including our brand-new Fearfully and Wonderfully Made exhibit). You can also ride a camel at the Ark or immerse yourself in our virtual reality experience (both require a separate ticket). At the Creation Museum, discover the truth about the star of Christmas in a planetarium show in our completely upgraded Stargazer Planetarium (beginning December 4; separate ticket required).

We hope you will make plans with your family to attend these Christmas events and make them part of your annual tradition, like so many families already do. In a year that’s been . . . unusual to say the least . . . ChristmasTown and ChristmasTime are wonderful opportunities to take time to reflect on Christ, his incarnation, and his sacrificial death on the cross for us.

The Ark Encounter and Creation Museum are large facilities with lots of room in the grounds for families to spread out and enjoy the lights, etc.

Find a calendar of ChristmasTown and ChristmasTime evenings at CreationMuseum.org/christmas or ArkEncounter.com/christmas.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
