Stargazer’s Night

You’ll be treated to a planetarium show not typically presented at the museum and then get to go to our observatory to use our telescopes.

During our Stargazer’s Nights you’ll enjoy an evening of astronomy, fellowship, and worship as you journey through the universe. You’ll be treated to a planetarium show not typically presented at the museum and then get to go to our observatory to use our telescopes. Depending on the time of the year, you’ll be treated to a variety of heavenly views. There will be binary stars, nebulae, globular clusters, galaxies, and planets. You may even be treated to an iridium flare as a satellite passes by or a view of the space station as it races overhead. It’s amazing to actually see the colors of stars; one favorite is a binary pair of stars, one yellow and one blue.

Astronomy Live

Or join us for an Astronomy Live evening to experience the constellations inside our state-of-the-art planetarium (where clouds and weather is never an issue!). Enjoy an in-depth presentation of the night sky as it appears the evening of the event, so come back during different seasons to track how the sky changes.
