Today we’re on day twenty of our 40 Days and 40 Nights of Gospel Music event! Guests from across the nation have been pouring into the Ark Encounter in record numbers to enjoy the best of gospel, bluegrass, country, and light contemporary music—and it’s been amazing. But before I get to that, I want to publicly thank our staff and the many volunteers who are working so hard to pull this event off. Our staff and volunteers are incredible, and we’re so thankful for them.

One of our staff members, who has been volunteering to help 40 Days and 40 Nights run smoothly, posted this to other staff members to encourage them in the busyness of the event, and I thought I would share it with you:

I just have to say, I have been having so much fun during the 40 Days of Music at the Ark. I know there’s a lot happening and that means a lot of work, but how rewarding it is to see all the folks out there these past weeks enjoying themselves and worshipping together (not to mention the great preaching and salvation testimonies!). Let’s take encouragement in these things and keep working together to make another great several weeks!
It truly has been an amazing time of worshipping the Lord so far, with some guests even professing faith in Christ for the first time as they hear the gospel proclaimed.

The past week, guests enjoyed music from Mark Trammell Quartet, The Taylors, Jim and Melissa Brady, LeFevre Quartet, The Kingsmen, Michael Combs, Karen Peck & New River, 3 Heath Brothers, The Inspirations, The Sound, Gold City, and the Coffmans. And outdoors guests worshipped with the music of Sounds of Jericho, Mercy’s Reign, Johnson Edition, Melvin Klaudt, Rebecca Speer, The Millers, and Matchless Grace.

Enjoy this piano piece ending of “How Great Thou Art.”

Today gospel artists The Whisnants and Wilburn & Wilburn will be performing in the Answers Center, and Sacred Calling will be singing in our outdoor venue, with Dr. Tim Hill speaking. It will be another amazing day—don’t miss it! Find all the details at 40DaysofGospelMusic.com.
